Despite his internal complaints, Felix didn't bother to correct Kade. He just got straight to the point,
"Don't come."
"What?"
"Don't come," Felix repeated, the tone of his voice even more decisive than the last time.
Kade went silent for a moment. "I can help you solve the problem," he eventually said. "Whether you want to get rid of that Alpha, or whatever else, I can help you out. Of course, it will be free of charge. I do it because I want to, so you don't have to feel like you owe me or anything…"
"It's not that," Felix interrupted, rubbing his furrowed forehead. While this indeed had been one of his concerns before, there were other, more significant reasons not to accept Kade's help. "What if you are spotted?"
Not only might there be spies watching Kade… But also, Remi had put so much effort into casting a spell on the neighbors! What if they see Kade visit him now? Remi would have to redo it all over again!
