Nathan's POV
I stood there, frozen, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Derrick hadn't even given time to Timothy to explain why he wanted Jaxon and Caleb for anything. Instead, Derrick had been firm in his abrupt decision, dismissing whatever Timothy was proposing.
Jaxon and Caleb seemed to be as confused as I was. By this time, I didn't see the need to even talk to them anymore. It was pointless now.
It was a hassle to decipher if Derrick had been angry or not, but whatever he felt, it was far from jealousy.
He definitely was not jealous. Just the way he had not been jealous after I returned from the training grounds. He wasn't jealous when he fucked me.
There was no way he was jealous.
However, no matter how many times I repeated it to myself, it was still impossible to arrive at any other conclusion but that. What could be the reason for him to act that way if it wasn't jealousy?
What was the reason for all of this?
