Mia felt her heart thud within her chest. She had to admit that there was something really different about Lucas. The man was packed with so much alluring charm, along with being dangerously compelling, that he was an expert in making any woman part with their clothes. Everything about him, from his killer smile to his sculpted body and that hot-as-magma voice, made her think of all kinds of sinful deeds.
Henry was good-looking as well, but for some reason, Mia had never lost control of her composure around him. She couldn't understand why it was different when it came to Lucas.
Maybe it had something to do with the relationship that they shared with one another, or maybe it was because the man was shrouded in so much mystery.
However, even though Mia admired the power that Lucas wielded, she had no desire to act on the impulse that surged in her heart whenever this man was around.
