There was a pause, and then the voice spoke again. "You don't know me, but I know you. And I'm trying to help you."
Anna's heart racing, she asked, "What do you mean? What's going on?"
The voice on the phone seemed to hesitate. "The city you're looking at," it said. "It's not what you think it is."
Anna's eyes locked onto the city in the distance. "What do you mean?" she asked again.
The voice on the phone spoke in a hushed tone. "It's a trap. A trap set for you. If you go there, you'll never come back."
Anna's mind reeled as she tried to process what she was being told. A trap? What kind of trap?
As she stood there, frozen in uncertainty, the voice on the phone spoke again. "Don't go there, Anna. Trust me."
