After a few more erratic breaths, Jihoon soon drifted into sleep, as if it were the most natural thing to do.
Ryul sat still for a long second, staring in disbelief at the now-serene figure lying on his palm. He couldn't helped but stifled a short laugh, cupping a hand over his mouth. The contrast of the storm from just moments ago was almost comical.
"Alright, let's get you to bed now."
The man mumbled under his breath as he easily lifted the limp body in his arms and strode toward the bed. With gentle movements, he laid Jihoon down on the mattress and covered him up neatly with a blanket.
Once he was sure the younger man was settled, Ryul stood up straight and rolled his shoulders back. A subtle pop of his joints broke the stillness of the night, only to be disrupted by an incoherent cheer echoing from outside.
