Chapter 306: The Arrival of Fear
After using his Animagus transformation to become a dragon, George's overall strength increased significantly, and his magical power surpassed the thousand-level limit.
Likewise, in this form, the power of his various spells was also enhanced.
The Apparition distance now covered the entire Earth, and his flying speed had received an epic-level boost.
He could first use the Tracking Charm to fly and locate the Inhumans' family members around the world, then Apparate at the fastest speed to take them away.
With a flap of his wings, a sonic boom rang out. Following the golden arrow, George disappeared from the spot in the blink of an eye.
To be honest, he felt that with the current strength of his physical body and his flying speed, he could probably crash into and kill a powerful enemy without using any magic at all.
A fusion of the strengths of dragons from three worlds was no joke.
According to his estimation, even if he took a nuclear bomb to the face in this state, it wouldn't be a big deal.
This was the confidence that made him believe he could contend with Kur.
Previously, he would never have believed he could fight someone of Kur's level.
Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, France, Portugal—after spending several hours, he had basically circled the entire globe and finally confirmed the location of all thirty of the Inhumans' family members.
He returned to the school and notified Gordon. The two began to act simultaneously.
Gordon first Apparated to Baron Stratt's base and brought back the leader Jiaying, then returned to the Inhumans' gathering place, "Future," to teleport the Inhumans and their families one by one.
Meanwhile, George also Apparated in front of each of the previously identified individuals and, without alerting the Hydra soldiers, packed them into boxes and rescued them one by one.
The entire process took less than ten minutes. All the Inhumans and their family members were transferred to the school's sports field.
In fact, there weren't that many people—only about a hundred or so in total.
"We'll have to expand the school!"
Looking at the more than one hundred new people, George thought to himself.
Although he could use the Extension Charm to expand space, he couldn't conjure buildings out of thin air inside it.
Recently, quite a few superpowered individuals and their families had already joined the school, and there were not many rooms left. Now, with the sudden addition of over a hundred people, it was getting crowded.
But this wasn't a big problem. He planned to use the Mountain Moving Spell to directly move a residential building to the school as a dormitory. That way, even if several hundred more people came, there'd still be room.
"Mr. George, thank you for your help to our Inhuman tribe. From today onward, our entire tribe will obey your command."
Seeing their long-imprisoned family members rescued and embracing their kin, Jiaying, with her daughter Daisy, approached George with deep gratitude on her face.
She had bet correctly—George did indeed have the power to save the Inhumans.
George smiled and waved his hand:
"No need for that. I'm not Hydra—I won't force you to do anything.
We've always taken in people with powers here. If you're willing, you can all stay and be teachers at the school, and your children can attend classes here too.
If trouble arises, whether you help or not is up to you."
He believed that, as long as the Inhumans lived at the school for a while, they would surely integrate into the community.
In this world, aside from the Superpower Academy, where else could they live and reside so safely? So there was no need to try too hard to win them over.
This arrangement was quite good. The Inhumans' joining strengthened the academy overall, allowing him to handle future matters with greater ease and focus more on learning magic.
On the other side, at Hydra's base in Sokovia.
"These bastards dared to run. Once I've unified Earth and the Divine Realm under the God-Lord, I'll take care of them slowly!"
Wielding a giant hammer, his body swollen from divine power, Baron Stratt slammed the ground furiously upon hearing the report from a Hydra agent, creating a large pit.
Although he was furious about the Inhumans' betrayal, he didn't order his men to search for them.
Because he had a more important task ahead.
"Stratt, the God-Lord has summoned us. It's time to go!"
Baron Zemo, carrying another divine hammer, appeared at the room's entrance.
Hearing this, Stratt's expression turned fanatical, and he shouted:
"Great God-Lord, mighty God of Fear, Stratt answers your call!"
Half an hour later, in the base's main square, the Eight Heavenly Hammer Elders stood in a row, each wielding a giant hammer, and behind them were densely packed Hydra soldiers.
Since almost all of Hydra's leaders had become Heavenly Hammer Elders, nearly all Hydra troops and their most advanced weapons and equipment had gathered here.
Not just tanks and bombs, but also mechas and newly developed giant war-beast machines.
Standing before the Eight Heavenly Hammer Elders was the God of Fear, Odin's elder brother, Kur.
Due to being sealed for many years, Kur looked even older than Odin, holding a staff, with white hair and beard almost trailing on the ground.
He gazed at the Eight Elders and the Hydra troops, his aged voice echoing in everyone's ears.
"My children, now let me lead you to spread fear to every corner of the world, so all may live under my terror!"
He gently tapped his staff to the ground, and divine power instantly enveloped all of Sokovia.
The immense divine force caused Sokovia to tremble, and then cracks appeared as the land began to rise—Sokovia was flying into the air.
Due to the city's ascent, most of the buildings collapsed, countless humans were buried, and overwhelming fear spread across Sokovia.
Kur opened his mouth and took a deep breath, absorbing all the fear into his body. In turn, his form began to rejuvenate, rapidly transforming from an elderly figure into a dignified middle-aged man.
This was his power—he could absorb fear to restore his body and enhance his divine strength.
"Go!"
As he waved his staff, all of Sokovia, carrying the Eight Heavenly Hammer Elders and the Hydra army, flew toward Washington, D.C.
According to the intel provided by Original Sin, the United States was currently the most powerful nation in the mortal world. He would destroy its capital first and let the entire world fall into despair.
This way, he could absorb the fear of the entire mortal world and greatly increase his power.
Only then could he return to the Divine Realm, defeat Odin with his realm's bonus, reclaim his throne, and take back everything that belonged to him.
"Odin, you usurping traitor, I will kill you, and every one of your kin!"
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, everyone. I had visitors this afternoon, so only two chapters today—posting early.
