Chapter Title: "The Twin Hueys"
Cue: "Shadow Masquerade" – Shiro Sagisu
The ash-colored sky hung low over Alcatraz. Wind howled across the outer courtyard, rattling the broken gate and brushing against the spattered blood of fallen guards. Amidst the stillness walked Knight Fendro, Warden of Alcatraz, his crimson cloak dragging against the cracked earth.
He approached the center of devastation where Huey the Second stood, smoke rising around him like mist on a battlefield.
Fendro's voice cut through the air with sharp clarity.
"I don't know how you're doing it—suppressing your Shen to the point of zero, yet still using abilities. That's not natural."
Huey chuckled.
"When you've lived long enough, you learn one or two secrets from history…"
But in his mind, Huey was already processing.
How did he know?
Smart man, he thought. I'm suppressing my original Shen at first, But what he can't detect… is the Shen I'm using.
The Shen I drew from the coffin—Shukaku. It's far beyond his perception. Far beyond this world. That's why he can't sense it. But still… he's dangerous to have had such calculative mind and to figure me out."
Fendro stepped forward, closing the distance in the blink of an eye.
"What's your purpose here?" he asked, calm but firm.
Huey tilted his head. "I'm here… to liberate the unjust. The ones your precious S.U.H.A has condemned for generations."
A silence.
"They will bring down the very institutions that have caged them."
Fendro's expression hardened. "I won't let that happen."
Huey smirked. "An ant. Speaking in the presence of a god. How defiling."
He raised his hand.
SHOOM!
A red Cross Beam of energy burst from his palm, cutting through the space toward Fendro like divine judgment.
But the Warden stood his ground.
"Chamber: Gravity Pulse."
FWWUMMMM!
A glowing circular field snapped into existence around Fendro's body, distorting space itself. As the Cross Beam closed in, it was compressed mid-air—squeezed by the invisible force of gravity until it bent, shrank, and finally imploded into nothingness.
Huey's eyes narrowed. "So… you are you famous Chamber master , I sort to find the user of this ability for generations upon generations and here you've been hiding such a technique, under SUHA"
Fendro responded, unflinching. "I have no interest in your games. I'll end you here."
Huey scoffed. "For years, kings and legends tried the same and they all failed."
"I'm not them," Fendro replied.
He raised both arms outward. The air around them twisted.
"Chamber: Compression Field!"
A pulse exploded outward—forming a 20-meter gravity dome, locking Huey and Fendro in a sealed zone where the Warden had absolute control over space and weight.
CRRRRACKK!
The ground beneath Huey trembled. His knees buckled as a monstrous gravitational force yanked him downward.
"Ghh—!" Huey grimaced, struggling.
"You wonder why I'm the Warden of Alcatraz?" Fendro said, walking forward. "Because if needed, I can expand my chamber ability over this entire prison and bring everyone under my command now stay still will I slay thou head."
Huey's body dropped to one knee. His limbs strained, sweat trickling down his brow.
"What an ability… against even a Shen-infused me… Magnificent."
Elsewhere – Alcatraz Control Room
While the chaos outside unfolded, another shadow had arrived.
The control room doors creaked open.
Guards inside were glued to the monitors, watching Fendro battling Huey the Second.
"He's winning!"
"That's our Warden!"
They cheered—until the door clicked behind them.
Footsteps. Calm. Measured.
They turned—
And froze.
"W-Wait… isn't that—?" One stuttered.
On the screen: Huey.
At the door: Huey again.
"Impossible…"
In a flash—SHRRRINGG!
Their heads rolled from their shoulders to the ground blood spilling from there necks upwards painting the walls of the control room,A blinding red slash sliced the air. Hovering just above, a long red rod silent and deadly rotated in place, hovering like a predator.
Huey the First stepped forward, brushing blood from his sleeve,He cleared his throat and took the microphone.
His voice echoed through every hallway, every cell:
"My name is Huey. Your Liberator."
He continued:
"Your captors—S.U.H.A—locked you away, not because you were evil. But because they feared your power. They feared your potential the very gift that you possesse."
He let the words settle like smoke in a dry room.
"But today… I offer you one thing."
A pause.
"…Freedom."
Cheers. Screams. Gasps.
"But freedom comes with a cost. I will lead you—but you must fight. You will help me destroy S.U.H.A and rebuild a world where Shen users rule as gods."
The mic buzzed. His next words were calm, yet final.
"Refuse… this offer and you die."
He dropped the microphone.
CLICK.
A button was pressed.
SLAM—SLAM—SLAM—SLAM—!!
One by one, the cell doors opened, flooding the prison with the sound of rattling chains and echoing footsteps. Inmates—hundreds of them—stepped forward, eyes wide.
"Sir, we're still chained!" someone shouted.
Huey's body dissolved.
He reappeared, hovering above the block on his floating red rod. His coat flowed in the air.
"I'll free you," he said. "But not here."
"Take a step forward… if you're ready to turn this very world to your own."
They did.
And from beneath, wooden roots coiled around their feet—then pulled them down.
WHOOSH!
They vanished—relocated.
Yet not everyone moved.
In Block Z, Asger remained in her cell. She turned, glaring toward the one cell that hadn't opened.
"Sakamoto… come out, boy."
Inside, Sakamoto stood still,He knew that voice.
That presence.
"…Huey."
And he knew what it meant if he stepped out.
Back Outside – Courtyard
Back in the gravity chamber, Huey the Second's body had now fully hit the ground. His spine cracked audibly as the gravitational force crushed his figure to the earth.
BOOM!
His body shattered, fragmented into energy.
Fendro exhaled. "It's done—"
CRACK!
A hand seized his throat.
From beside him.
Huey.
Unharmed.
Before Fendro could react—
THWACK!
Huey hurled him like a ragdoll, sending him crashing into the thick prison wall.
BOOOOM!!!
The stone cracked.
Dust and blood painted the surface.
Huey hovered above him, smiling. "Now… where were we?"
Back Inside – Cell 1000
The deepest chamber. A carved tomb at the heart of Alcatraz,Huey the First now stood before it.
"Lord Napoleon Bonaparte… Lord Julius Caesar…" he called out.
Chains rattled and From the darkness came footsteps echoes of titans lost to time,Their silhouettes emerged,Eyes glowing with ancient old power.
"The time has come?" Napoleon asked.
Huey bowed. "Yes, my lord."
Julius smiled. "Very well."
Wooden roots rose once more—wrapping around their feet.
FWWSSSHH!
And they vanished—off to an unknown location.
