Chapter 123 - Chapter:123 A Cross For Alcatraz

Chapter Title: "A Cross for Alcatraz"

Ffffwwshhh…

A sudden gust of white smoke hissed into existence just outside the towering black gates of Alcatraz Prison, swirling like an apparition against the blood-red dusk. The mist curled unnaturally at its edges—then coalesced. Slowly, a figure began to take shape from the vapor.

Long, slick hair. Impeccable suit. A smooth face wearing the mask of elegance, yet hiding an abyss beneath it was Huey the Second.

He emerged with grace, his boots touching the scorched ground with silent reverence.

"So this is Alcatraz…" he said softly, almost in awe, his voice floating on the wind like a whispered hymn.

Above, from the fortified security towers, guards in heavy armor stared down with widened eyes. Their reactions were immediate—instinctual. The man's face had long been etched into the world's nightmares from old times and every soldier in Greenland knew exactly what he looked like so it was no surprise and Huey wasn't ready to hide himself he wanted to make a loud statement.

"It's The Ten!" one screamed.

"Huey the Second! Sound the alarm!" another shouted, panic evident in every word.

Huey looked up with curiosity, tilting his head.

"Hello?" he said, almost playfully.

SHRRAAKK!

Without a flick of his wrist, sharp wooden roots erupted from the prison walls—splitting through the concrete and piercing the towers like divine spears. The screaming guards were impaled instantly, twisted upward and locked into the jagged bark like sacrificial ornaments. One, in his final breath, managed to slap a large red button beside him before completely collapsing to death.

BEEEEP! WAAAHH! WAAAHH!

Alcatraz's sirens roared to life.

Floodlights snapped on. Gates clanked open. The hum of machinery grew into a deafening crescendo.

Click. Click. CH-CHAKK.

From hidden crevices across the outer wall, turrets, rocket launchers, and automated railguns unfolded like awakened beasts. They adjusted their aim toward the lone figure standing in the white smoke.

Then—

RATATATATATATA!!!

Gunfire erupted from all sides. Bullets tore through the air like rainstorms of steel. One soldier fired a bazooka—its warhead sailing with a fiery streak straight into the cloud.

BOOOOOOM!

The blast lit up the sky. Smoke engulfed everything. Dust rolled out like a smothering wave.

A pause.

And then…

The smoke parted.

There stood Huey, untouched.

His clothing unwrinkled. His smirk intact,A single bullet spun slowly between his fingers—caught mid-flight.

He glanced down at it and smiled. "Hmm… S.U.H.A are manufacturing Shen-infused bullets now? One that can pierce through a shen users flesh?" His right hand glowed faintly, the cross symbol pulsing like a holy brand.

"Ingenious…" he said. "But meaningless."

High above, one soldier's knees buckled. "H-He's not injured—he's… he's immortal…"

"Is he even human? I hate this bastards whispered another.

CRRRACKKKK!!!

Suddenly, the concrete walls ruptured again,Thick wooden roots exploded outward—like monstrous tendrils seeking prey. One by one, the soldiers stationed along the upper perimeter were dragged violently into the wall. Their screams were short-lived. Blood splattered. Flesh pierced.

But Huey wasn't done,The roots twitched—rearranging the corpses,With methodical precision, the bodies formed a grisly mosaic on the wall—an intricate display spelling out one word:

"HUEY." His very name

He looked up, admiring his bloody signature.

"Isn't that beautiful?" he whispered,And then he stepped forward.

THRUMMMM!

The cross symbol on his hand ignited again. This time it pulsed brighter—deeper—until a gigantic crimson cross materialized in the sky above his palm. With a slow, deliberate push, Huey threw it forward, as he muttered.

Red Cross:Decimation Ray

FWWOOOOM!

The blazing red cross tore through the air like divine judgment. It smashed into Alcatraz's massive gate, splitting it in half with surgical precision. The steel crumbled and fell apart with a hollow groan, the structure now carved with a perfect cross-shaped hole in the center.

Huey continued walking,Beyond the shattered gate, more soldiers rushed to form new ranks.

They screamed, aimed, steadied, Huey just simply chuckled.

"Humans, this weak creatures They never learn…"

CRRUUMMMBLE!!!

From beneath their feet, the ground cracked. Wooden tendrils burst upward from the iron ground —sharper, faster, and more vicious than before. They impaled each soldier, lifting them off their feet and slamming them into the ceiling. Their bodies hung like trophies, blood dripping to the floor in rhythmic patterns.

Huey passed beneath them—uncaring. The red symbol on his forehead glowed ominously, dripping with an energy no mortal could withstand.

Control Room – Alcatraz

Sirens continued to echo as Knight Fendro, the warden of Alcatraz, stood frozen in front of a monitor. His long coat shifted with his movements, his gloved fingers clenching tighter.

"This can't be…" he whispered.

On-screen, Huey was walking through the destroyed gate like a god.

Fendro narrowed his eyes. "I sensed no Shen at all. And yet—he's using techniques freely? That's impossible, "

His jaw clenched.

"When a person suppresses their Shen, they can't activate techniques unless they release it. So how…?"

The thought made his blood run cold.

Was Huey… evolving? Or maybe he's rewritten the laws of Shen?

Fendro turned, his cape trailing as he marched toward the exit.

"I'm not letting Alcatraz fall. Not while I'm still breathing."

Block Z – Inside Alcatraz

Chaos rippled through the prison corridors. Prisoners whispered behind bars. Some rattled their chains. Others stared upward, eyes filled with madness, hope—or dread.

In the farthest part of the darkened block, Sakamoto sat on the edge of his bed, hearing the distant gunfire. His breath slowed.

From the opposite side of the hall, separated by thick stone walls, came the familiar sarcastic voice of Asger.

"Old lady," Sakamoto called, raising his voice. "What the hell is going on?"

"Are you awake? You hear that what's going on"

There was a pause—then a dry chuckle.

"Boy, we're both locked up. You think I get newsletters down here?" And then she laughed

She laughed again—louder this time. "Maybe today is salvation. Hah! Boy, you brought salvation to Alcatraz!"

Sakamoto frowned. "Salvation…?"

Alcatraz – Outer Courtyard

BOOM!

Without warning, Huey's body was flung backward—violently struck by an unseen force.

THUD!

He tumbled through the air, smoke trailing from his body, and landed in a crouch just outside the gates where his massacre began. A small trench carved where his boots dragged along the earth.

He stood slowly, brushing the dirth off his clothing,A single man now stood at the breach's edge, Wearing heavy black clothing and a tattered red scarf, his face was stoic—lined with duty and unshakable resolve.

Knight Fendro.

The Warden. The Final Wall.

Huey smirked, brushing dust from his shoulder Again.

"Well, well…" he said with delighted interest. "A Warden, huh?"

Fendro said nothing, eyes narrowing. His stance widened.

Huey's cross symbols began to pulse brighter, The masquerade had only begun.
