Even so, Lineana failed several times, while Pursena struggled even more, unable to find the key to mastering it.
This made Roa realize the limitations of teaching this magic to others.
If they couldn't grasp it even with his hands-on guidance, how could others possibly learn it?
After patiently instructing them for a while, Lineana finally managed to barely cast the mid-level magic Roa had created.
The triumphant look on Lineana's face was impossible to hide. She glanced smugly at Pursena, who was still struggling, and a mischievous idea popped into her head.
She chanted in a slightly awkward tone, "Believe in my deity, grant me the power to slow all things, reverse the tide! [Time Pause]!"
In the next moment, she disappeared from her spot and reappeared behind Pursena, her hands reaching out to grab Pursena's "hills."
Pursena instinctively tried to dodge. Their combat abilities were usually on par, and in the past, she could easily avoid Lineana's shameless sneak attacks. But this time, she was a step too slow and could only watch as Lineana's evil claws landed on her "hills."
Pursena was well-endowed, and Lineana squeezed the large "fruit" in her hand, a wicked smile spreading across her face. She gave it a hard pinch, which instantly made Pursena cry out in embarrassment and anger.
"Lineana, what are you doing? I'll fight you!"
With that, she lunged at Lineana with a fierce expression.
Roa watched this scene with a smile.
But as he smiled, a sudden thought occurred to him, and his eyes lit up.
Wait, could time pause also be used for… that?
Roa couldn't help but think of the scenes from adult anime he had seen in his previous life.
Some bespectacled guy, looking all prim and proper, one day gets a watch that can pause time and starts a life of impregnating anyone he stares at.
Of course, he wouldn't use such methods on random people, but it could be used for some interesting roleplay, right?
If the mages of this world knew about Roa's thoughts, they would probably vomit blood in frustration.
There were just too many things to criticize. To have such powerful magic and think of using it for such purposes—it was truly unheard of.
After watching Lineana and Pursena play around for a while, Roa cleared his throat and turned his attention back to the task at hand.
He still had more research to do and couldn't let these two continue to fool around.
Lineana, meanwhile, was eagerly experimenting with her newly acquired magic, while Pursena watched with envy, gritting her teeth and trying to focus as she muttered the incantation under her breath.
Their enthusiasm came and went quickly. Soon, Lineana ran out of mana and had to stop, while Pursena, feeling somewhat disheartened, leaned back in her chair and started munching on a piece of meat she had somehow gotten her hands on.
For a while, the two fell silent, and the room returned to its usual quiet, with only the sound of Roa's pen scratching on paper.
The cat and dog exchanged a glance, then silently opened the door and slipped out.
Roa didn't pay them any mind, continuing to write and draw on the paper.
Time passed, and before they knew it, it was already noon.
The door knocked again, but this time it wasn't Lineana or Pursena, nor was it Restia or Est. Instead, it was the young man they had met the previous night.
He nervously approached Roa, holding a letter containing a thousand-word self-criticism.
Roa glanced at him, said nothing, and after taking the letter and asking for his class, he waved him away.
The young man left, and about half an hour later, the door opened again. This time, it was a golden-haired, pointy-eared elf girl.
She looked refreshed, her emerald-green eyes fixed on Roa as she strode confidently up to him.
Her gaze swept over the magic circle on Roa's desk, and she frowned, "You're studying magic? I never thought the great Sword God would also know magic."
Roa chuckled, "If I didn't know magic, how could I suppress the curse on you?"
Elinalise's expression showed that she had expected this answer. She stared intently at Roa and got straight to the point, "I want you to help me completely remove the curse. I'll agree to anything you want."
Hearing this, Roa finally looked up from his book and turned his gaze to Elinalise's face.
Her features were delicate, with a high nose bridge and long, curved eyebrows. Her eyes were filled with a seductive charm, and even the passage of time had left no trace on her face.
Roa slowly and casually scanned Elinalise's figure, his fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk.
He pulled out a pair of gold-rimmed glasses from the drawer and put them on.
He wasn't nearsighted, but in this situation, wearing glasses seemed appropriate for his image.
And indeed, with the glasses on, he instantly looked like a scholarly intellectual.
The sound of his fingers tapping on the desk echoed through the small room.
Roa's demeanor naturally created a strong sense of pressure. Looking at the handsome young man before her, Elinalise couldn't help but feel nervous.
Roa's gaze moved down from Elinalise's face to her chest.
Her "mountains" were impressive, with steep and rugged paths.
Her looks were quite good, an eight out of ten, and with the added bonus of her figure, she could easily score a nine.
For a girl of such beauty to offer herself, it would be a lie to say he wasn't interested.
He knew his own nature all too well.
Roa adjusted his glasses and asked teasingly, "Really, anything?"
Elinalise's face immediately flushed red. She licked her lips, leaned closer to Roa, and deliberately bent down, exposing her "mountains" to him.
Her outfit was quite revealing, showing off most of her ample bosom.
She smiled and said, "Of course, a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g!"
She emphasized each word, her eyes filled with a seductive, watery charm. Her wavy hair cascaded down to her waist, and her skimpy school uniform not only failed to cover her voluptuous figure but instead accentuated her allure.
Her brown boots paired with her long, snow-white legs, which looked full and meaty. Her red stockings wrapped tightly around her firm calves, stopping just above the knee.
The red stockings ended just above her boots, which were longer than those worn by the two spirits. Her overall outfit looked quite appetizing.
Elinalise was an adventurer, so she naturally exercised regularly, which contributed to her excellent figure.
She was curvaceous, undoubtedly the type of woman who could bear many children.
But then again, Elinalise was a carnivorous type of woman, so it made sense that her body would be so alluring.
The two were very close, and as she spoke, Roa could even smell her scent.
It was still the faint milky fragrance, which hadn't diminished over time but had instead grown stronger.
At such a close distance, her breath was almost on Roa's face.
This was undoubtedly a temptation. If it were any other girl, they would either blush and scold Roa for being a scoundrel or act coy. But Elinalise was different—she took the initiative.
And this woman hadn't become more reserved after the curse was lifted; instead, she had become even bolder.
Roa sighed and pushed her delicate face away, saying with some exasperation, "You're still the same as ever."
Elinalise was momentarily stunned, then smiled brightly, "You make it sound like you know me well. I don't remember sleeping with such a handsome guy like you."
Roa smirked, seeing how this woman kept teasing him. He stood up from his chair and walked over to Elinalise.
He had realized that staying seated was like putting shackles on himself, allowing this woman to do as she pleased in front of him. How could he tolerate that?
With a determined stride, he approached Elinalise. Roa was naturally much taller than her. Elinalise was taller than Est or Restia, but she still had to look up at Roa.
Without wasting words, he reached out and placed a hand on Elinalise's chest. Under her puzzled gaze, Roa gave it a firm squeeze.
Elinalise winced in pain and looked at Roa with some displeasure, "Don't squeeze so hard. It hurts."
Roa adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses and smiled mysteriously, "This is your punishment."
Elinalise's eyes lit up, "So you're into this kind of thing? I've heard some people are into this."
Roa's smile faltered. He had to admit, a seasoned player like Elinalise had seen it all.
He decided not to continue the teasing. With a sigh, he pulled out a chair and sat down, gesturing for Elinalise to sit beside him, "Let's talk. What can you offer?"
Elinalise didn't sit on the chair. Instead, she looked Roa up and down.
Under Roa's puzzled gaze, she sat sideways on his lap, wriggled her waist, and wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning into his embrace. Elinalise was not light, being much heavier than Est, Restia, or Roxy.
Her figure was naturally more substantial, so she couldn't be as petite and soft as a loli.
But compared to the other three, her years of training gave her a unique charm.
Roa wrapped his arm around Elinalise's slender waist, his expression calm and composed, showing none of the awkwardness typical of a young man his age.
Elinalise spoke in a seductive voice, "I told you, anything."
If Roa were a true gentleman, Elinalise wouldn't have chosen such a bold approach.
But clearly, Roa was no saint. Players recognize each other, and from Roa's demeanor, it was clear he was no stranger to having women around.
Dealing with such an experienced man, pretending to be innocent would be futile.
Sure enough, Roa didn't reject Elinalise's advances. His gaze lingered on her, but his eyes remained clear, showing no trace of lust.
With a beauty in his arms, he was still considering whether to agree to Elinalise's request.
But this calm demeanor made Elinalise anxious.
No attraction? That wouldn't do.
No attraction meant he was still in control of his judgment. She didn't believe she had anything else to offer besides her body.
She didn't know that her granddaughter, Sylphy, had a connection with him, nor did she know that Roa's father was Paul. She was just wondering what she had that could make Roa look at her differently.
As an adventurer, Elinalise was quite strong, her strength hovering between the Advanced and Saint levels. She was skilled in using a rapier, which was considered top-notch among adventurers, but it was not enough in front of Roa. She didn't think she could help Roa with any troubles.
After thinking about it, the only thing she could offer was her body.
And if that was the case, and Roa still didn't agree, then she would most likely have no hope of breaking the curse.
She had lived for a long time and tried many methods, but all had been in vain over the long years.
Now that she had finally found such an opportunity, how could she give up?
As a woman, who would want to become that kind of person?
She once had her own lover, and she once swore that she would only love them for life, but these vows became fragile and shattered at the touch in the face of the long curse and time.
Now, these days were finally over, and hope was in front of her. She had to find a way to seize this opportunity no matter what.
She, Elinalise, wanted to live a normal life.
