Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Curiosity

The three gods could have done anything with the infantile universe. Whether that be to nurture or destroy their own creation. But despite their lacking imagination, curiosity took hold. Like cats drawn to a ball of yarn, their desire for information was endless.

First, they looked within themselves. They explored their forms and all the capabilities that they came with. The strength, speed, perception, and processing speed. Alpha looked even deeper into himself and found his psyche, it shaped like a glass sphere that seemed incomplete as it was clouded with dust that ebbed and flowed. Gamma looked next at her psyche and found that of a bare tree, one that produced no leaves or fruit as if it were in winter. Omega looked last at their psyche finding that of a stalwart stone with it's surface marred by cracks.

Satisfied with their own forms, they moved on to shaping the universe. Alpha would designate the congregation of matter in various places in the then small universe. A typhoon of energy swirled about resulting in the first particles as time flowed from Gamma. The building blocks of all things having been formed and the laws that governed them were written by Omega.

In everything the three did, all three would be required. No new item could live without a law or without affecting the flow. Though the cooperation between the three was perfect. In each and everything they did, each of them understood their role and executed it to the best of their abilities.

Their curiosity led to the first stars. Unfathomably large stars that could eclipse entire galaxies were as numerous as grains of sand on a beach. The now fledgling universe finally bathed in a new color, a beautiful sheen of blue.

Yet as quick as this beautiful color came about, a new darkness followed. Brought about by the passage of time and the laws governing the stars. Stars died, yet in their place, galaxies formed. Beautiful spirals of a multitude of colors. Spherical clumps of stars reminiscent of the first stars dotted the universe. Abstract shapes rounded out this strange universe.

As the three continued creating, colliding, combining, igniting, and destroying, they became even more adept with their powers. Alpha encapsulated his mastery in a glass-like orb holding the universe as he saw it. Gamma encapsulated her mastery in a glass-like staff meant to change the flow. It held her favorite item in time being a clock. Omega encapsulated their mastery in a glass-like scroll allowing for the laws to be read and written in an easier form.

With the tools, the three could experiment with more fervor than they had ever had before. The awe-inspiring formations on the galactic scale, Alpha could now make, populated the universe. The choosing of the flow became less about forcing it through actions, rather, Gamma could direct which flow the universe could choose from. Laws were now able to be observed and changed in such a way that Omega could fine tune the universe to its best possible state.
