It took a bit of convincing, actually, it took a lot of convincing but finally, I was finally able to get Simon to believe me, just even slightly. Just a bit. That much was enough for me.
He still had his reservations, of course. My story sounded absolutely crazy, absolutely unbelievable and a few months ago, I would have thought I was crazy too.
"I am not going to say that I completely understand you." He said after what seemed like an eternity of silence. "But I believe that you believe all that you have said."
That was coming from someone who could see ghosts. I felt so out of touch with reality.
"And I have seen things." He continued. "I can see things, things that make me seem like I am crazy. And maybe it is because of that but it is quite hard to call you crazy."
I nodded.
"But if what you said is true, then that means I was right to consider you trouble."
