Asher concentrated all his being into the divination he was trying to carry out. The chain moved and shifted in his hands, it swerved like the pendulum on a grandfather clock.
And then it stopped, pointing to the cup of tea at the right.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
"Impressive." Corin clapped his hands upon seeing Asher's innate potential.
He's able to grasp it easily. Corin smiled as these very thoughts in his mind.
"What next?" Asher asked.
"Well, you definitely haven't grasped everything yet. What do you think I put in there?" Corin replied.
"Poison?"
"No, I took the dirt from the underside of my shoes and dumped it in the tea." Corin chuckled.
"Oh God!" Asher exclaimed and picked up the cup of tea from the table and took it to the window. He popped his head outside to see if anyone was walking beneath. As soon as he confirmed that there was no one there he threw the cup of tea out.
