Chapter 157 - Chapter 158: The Monster Garou!

Chapter 158: The Monster Garou!

Chang Wei used electromagnetic force to pull the Orochi Ball over. Terrible Tornado had no interest in a defeated target—she was looking for Chang Wei.

Along the way, any monsters she encountered met a miserable end, as she vented her anger on them.

Even though Garou, after fully monsterizing, had reached peak dragon-level strength, he was still nothing to Chang Wei. If he wanted to knock him out, he could do so effortlessly.

"I've given you so many good things—you better repay me properly..."

Chang Wei held the Orochi Ball, which had been reduced from the size of a basketball to something as small as a speck of dust using the Green Baby's shrinking ability. Then, he flicked it into the unconscious Garou's mouth.

The reason he didn't use psychokinesis to compress it further was that he worried additional compression would destroy Orochi's remaining vitality. The thing was still alive—barely.

Now, with the Orochi Ball inside Garou's body, it immediately took root, drawing nutrients from him to restore itself.

Worried that Garou might lose control over himself if he remained unconscious for too long, Chang Wei slapped him across the face after feeding him the sphere.

"Smack!"

Garou jolted awake. The surroundings were empty. He touched his stinging cheek in a daze.

Did... someone just slap him?

Impossible. He had become this strong—who could possibly slap him without him noticing?

And besides, how had he even passed out?

Why did he have no memory of it at all?

"This is getting stranger and stranger..."

Garou furrowed his brows, confused. But he quickly put it aside—there were still plenty of heroes to take care of.

At that moment, Terrible Tornado, still unable to find Chang Wei, lost her patience.

"If you won't come out, then I'll force you out!"

With her psychokinesis barrier already broken, she had no reason to hold back. It was the perfect chance to eliminate all the remaining monsters at once.

As for the heroes inside the Monster Association, Terrible Tornado—now enhanced—wrapped them in her psychic power and forcibly pulled them out of the ruins.

Garou felt the ground tremble, as if an earthquake had struck.

"What the hell is going on? An earthquake?"

With a single movement, Garou broke through to the surface, only to witness a shocking sight.

The entire Monster Association had been uprooted by Terrible Tornado. It floated mid-air, compressing into a massive sphere, its sheer mass generating enough gravitational force to pull everything around it inward.

This was a technique Terrible Tornado had learned from observing Chang Wei—far more efficient than her previous uses of psychokinesis, and exponentially more powerful.

"She really is... a Trembling Tornado."

Garou stared at the scene. If he hadn't escaped in time, would he have been crushed as well?

Impossible. He was the perfect monster, Garou. There was no way that could happen.

But now, the only ones left alive were the heroes. Even the dragon-level monsters of the association, despite their enhanced strength from the super-monster cells, couldn't withstand Terrible Tornado's power.

"This is why I say I'm enough on my own. The rest of you are just getting in the way. Now, where's that bastard Chang Wei?"

Terrible Tornado crossed her arms and floated in mid-air, exuding disdain.

"This is getting out of hand..."

Chang Wei shook his head. If a certain bald guy came back and found his home gone, turned into a bottomless crater, who knew how he'd react?

Then again, it wasn't surprising. Compared to the cheat he had given the Monster Association, Terrible Tornado's enhancement was even bigger. Her current psychokinesis was over twice as powerful as before. At this point, she might not even lose against Boros in a one-on-one fight. Only Meteoric Burst Boros had a real chance of taking her down.

"Heroes... extermination!"

Garou, unfazed, charged toward Terrible Tornado like an iron-headed lunatic.

"Oh? There's actually a monster still alive?"

Terrible Tornado noticed him instantly. Without hesitation, she bound him with invisible psychokinetic force.

"Psychic powers? But I've already adapted!"

Garou, trapped mid-air by Terrible Tornado's telekinesis, began moving again. His joints creaked, his body grinding against the invisible force restraining him. The sheer strength of his struggle stirred the air into shockwaves, sending weaker heroes flying.

"Impossible."

Terrible Tornado was surprised—her casual use of psychokinesis should have easily immobilized this guy.

At first glance, he looked like an ordinary monster, his body a fusion of blood, fur, clothing, and skin, covered in a pitch-black shell with a pair of horn-like protrusions.

"I'm taking you down!"

Garou broke free from the psychic restraint, stepping on thin air as his fists shot out like lightning.

With his fists moving too fast for the eye to follow, the air was filled with countless afterimages.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Explosions rang out in front of Terrible Tornado, as if thousands of cannons had fired at once, shaking the earth itself. Any ordinary person caught in the area would have been torn apart by the shockwaves alone.

Terrible Tornado felt her psychic barrier shattering. If not for her automatic defenses, she might not have reacted in time—those fists were too fast and too powerful!

"This feeling... My punches are getting faster and stronger! My entire body is overflowing with power! Even after monsterizing, I'm still getting stronger!"

Garou couldn't feel his limits. Each punch was stronger than the last—yet none of them required any effort.

Terrible Tornado went all out.

"Interesting. Then I'll tear you apart!"

She increased her psychokinetic output, once again restraining Garou.

"Not enough! I need to become even stronger!"

Garou felt the immense invisible force crushing him once again—but this time, it was even stronger than before.

With a furious roar, he vanished like a flicker of light, tearing through Terrible Tornado's psychic restraint in an instant. The next moment, he appeared right in front of her.

His terrifying, monstrous face stared straight into Terrible Tornado's shocked eyes.

Impossible.

How did he break free from her psychokinesis again?

"BOOM!!!"

A black shockwave trailed behind Garou's fist as it slammed into Terrible Tornado. Even though her psychokinetic defenses absorbed some of the impact, she was still sent flying.

"She got careless. Right now, Garou has already surpassed dragon-level. And in battles beyond dragon-level, underestimating your opponent is no longer an option."

Chang Wei watched, unsurprised. If Terrible Tornado took the fight seriously, she might still be able to fight on par with Garou. But if she let her guard down, she'd end up getting hurt.
