The lights in the crowded city had filled Stella's heart with happiness. She was walking beside her love, holding his warm, strong hand, under the night sky, enjoying a festival of commoners. One she had been dreaming of visiting since childhood with someone of her own. Today, the loneliness she feels every time she comes to this festival is gone.
She was happy, very happy.
"Stella." Hael called her, as they walked through the crowded area. "Hold on tight." his grip tightened as he almost pulled her through the crowd.
The throng of people enjoying the festival had overwhelmed Stella. She had never entered into a crowd as crowded as this one. For she feared the atrocities of predators hidden in the crowd.
