The loud buzzing of his phone dragged Mason out of a shallow sleep. He groaned, rolled over, and saw the caller ID.
"Grandpa." He said in a whisper, as Mason immediately sat up.
"Good morning, Grandpa," he said, trying to sound alert, though his voice was still heavy from sleep.
"Have you seen the news today?" Grandpa's voice was calm, but there was something sharp beneath it. Controlled anger.
"No, I haven't. What's going on?" Mason asked, now fully awake and sitting at the edge of the bed.
There was a slight pause.
"You should check it... and fix it as soon as possible," Grandpa said with quiet command.
Before Mason could ask further questions, the line went dead.
Mason didn't waste another second. He reached for his phone and opened the news app.
His eyes widened as the headline stared back at him like a slap across the face:
"Who Is Mason Harrington's Secret Wife? The Billionaire's Hidden Romance Revealed."
