"Bloody hell, that shitful painful"
"As much as I admire your accent, I don't admire the way you are behaving right now. It's days and here we are still cleaning a wound—"
"Like anyone forced him to come fight me" Ash stepped inside the room, in all black. Not like there was any more color of clothing the people here put on apart from Selene who sometimes wore coloured clothes.
"And you would have died by my hands, if one of your magicians didn't come to stop me" Ash scoffed in derision. After zayn pushed him that day, he had wanted to fight but the other mages around had seen what was going to transpire and held zayn off making the haze clear off his eyes.
"It's not magicians but mages" Ash went to the table where bottles of potions and a book of Grimoire that was opened to a page with the sight of the creature they fought on it and he sighed, flipping through it. Zayn's voice came in but his head didn't register it.
Even after that zayn and ash got into sword fighting after he forced him to spar with him where he tore the sword through zayn's body numerous times and here they were. The air in the room wasn't as tight anymore as it used to be.
Selene patted Zayn's arms and pushed him away from her body. She came down from the high stool she was sitting on. Right now they were in the Tower of Babel where mages lived and did their spells.
She went to the table and stood by the side of ash as he flipped through the book before stopping at a picture of a creature and Selene tilted her head to look at it more "Is that an Orithian?"
Zayn who had come and stood behind them also winced at the gore site of the creature. A sketch of a skeleton with blood dripping down its body, and the eyes had balls in it. He shook his head moving away and ash caught that subtle act.
"Hmm" he answered Selene "It's a vile creature and one that sucks souls and humans especially. That's why you see blood coming out from the body fully aware it's a skeleton. These creatures don't exist but were to exist with these spells" his fingers skimmed through the next page of spells and drawings.
"But no one has this book. Only the mages of our world know it, even the witches and vampires didn't know it existed"
"That doesn't mean no one had it in their possession for once" he flipped through as his gaze cut through not just her eyes but her body as she shivered from his words "And now they are using it to their advantage and benefit which is not a good thing"
"Maybe you should kill them off, if you know them personally then let them cause too much trouble" zayn suggested from where sat on the floor. Ash came down from his stool and moving to the shelf at the back "If really killing a dark necromancy was easy. He's gone the dark side and there's no escape for him than death" he sneered "But you won't ever see him"
"Then find him"
"Not as easy as going back to your world zayn"
Selene left the table also to pick up a dagger that she dragged from the cupboard under the table and everyone's eyes went to her as she chanted under her breath, cutting herself open on an already drawn rune. Her eyes turned black and ash ran to her but she stopped him with her palm out "Let me help Ash"
After chanting for some time she staggered back and zayn who stood behind her held her shoulders which steadied her back.
"What are you trying to do? Kill yourself?"
She spit out blood and eased herself away from zayn's clutches "I'm fine, just trying out something"
"Like dark magic and spells?"
"Maybe?" Her eyes went to him "maybe? Yes Ash I'm practicing it however what do you expect me to do when everyone keeps blaming me? Huh? Don't tell me anything Ash"
Ash scoffed, threading his fingers through his hair. He went back to what he was doing like he didn't see anything. Selene sighed sitting down on the stool. She didn't know what fling or putting herself into but hoped it went well.
While they were still at it, a nave ran inside the room breathing hard as he walked to ash whispering some words before he too sprinted away.
Selene and Zayn left the room, standing by the door. She stopped a large who informed her one of the creatures ash captured had escaped.
