Mila finished having her bath, she had been awake to see Zyran return and got to know that Alvaro was faring well. And for today, she and Zyran would be decorating their child's nursery.
Done with bathing, Mila dressed up to go down for breakfast when her phone rang noisily. Picking her phone up, Mila saw it was Ashley.
"Hey Ash—"
"Mila, are you okay? Have you seen the news? You need to leave that house right now!"
Mila moved the phone from her ear, rushing to turn on the television. And the first news she saw was Zyran's picture with a red mark that tagged him a murderer.
"Mila... I..." Ashley's voice broke on the other end and the call ended.
Mila furrowed her brows, going closer to listen to what was on the television. It made her remember what was written on the paper the person gave to her, but Mila didn't believe it. With her relationship with Zyran recently, she believed he was just being framed.
