His voice was quieter now, but the challenge in it was undeniable. His silver eyes locked onto hers, and despite his calm, something simmered beneath the surface—a promise of something that she couldn't quite place.
"Yes! I do think you can't handle it!" she yelled, her hands balling into fists at her sides. She didn't care how ridiculous it sounded; she didn't care if she sounded like a madwoman. She just needed to get her frustration out, or else she might explode. "Look at you! You're just sitting here, acting like you're invincible, and all I can do is watch you get worse!
