Aurora blinked. She hadn't expected that. "Wow… you're right," she admitted. "I haven't eaten anything yet."
Spencer turned and headed toward the kitchen. Aurora watched him go with a slight pout on her lips.
Hmph. I thought he was going to offer a different kind of service…
Then suddenly, her eyes sparkled like she just had the best idea ever.
Grinning mischievously, she tiptoed behind Spencer. He was just about to turn on the stove when she gently tugged on his shirt.
He paused and looked back at her, confused. "What happened?"
Aurora batted her eyelashes. "So… you said you owe me, right?"
"Yeah?"
"Well…" she said slowly, trying not to burst out laughing, "If you really want to impress me… and serve me…"
She leaned in a little closer and whispered, "You should cook dinner in nothing but an apron."
Spencer blinked.
Then blinked again.
"…What?"
Aurora grinned like a cat who just knocked a glass off the table.
"You heard me. Just an apron. Nothing else."
