"I still can't believe we've gone from being so bored to constantly dealing with something!" Zeeb clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"I think it's because the time has come," Ralph said, sounding wise beyond his years.
"I think it's because of her," Zephyr growled, staring into the distance, deep in thought. The veins in his jaw pulsed.
Zeeb stepped closer. "Is that why you've been so irritable lately? Because of the dream?"
"I haven't been irritable," Zephyr snapped, glaring.
Zeeb shrugged, but Ralph also stepped forward, arms crossed. "You have been very irritable. More than usual."
"Usual?" Zephyr repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes. Ever since she arrived, you've been more...emotional, Zephyr," Ralph stated bluntly.
"Exactly!" Zeeb exclaimed, pleased that Ralph had the guts to say it to Zephyr's face. He waited for Zephyr's reaction.
