Cassius counted in his head, and if he included last night, that was the second time his poor Arabella had met fate with death and continued to resist it. Here, he thought that it was her power not to die, no matter how many times she had been killed.
"Then why are you worried?" Cassius shrugged, "Her having back her power is what she needs. Arabella herself wants a way to be able to protect herself, including regaining her power and learning how to utilize her bloodline."
"It is good, sire," agreed Lastor, "But imagine a cracked vase being filled to the brim with water- they're bound to burst, and when they break, they would cause an impact- large enough that it would cause deaths. It would be great if the people she kills by accident is her enemy but what if it isn't? Knowing the princess's gentle soul that would hurt her... immensely."
Cassius ruffled his hair, "How bad is it?"
