Aurelia exhaled, "Finally! While these meetings aren't that long, they really are starting to wear me down."
"I believe, just as Raguel stated, that you are doing amazing. My Lady." Lucious reassured her.
Aurelia brought her hand in front of her face before chuckling.
The difference in Lucious now and just a couple of days ago was night and day.
Somehow, it truly made her happy that the Archangel started being more communicative and open.
"Lucious, would you like to drink some wine with me. Just two of us." She stared widely while wearing a small smile, "Girl's night out! We can talk about our hubbies!"
Rayn merely blinked at Aurelia's outburst, trying to ignore his wife's staring.
Lucious looked down, then towards Rayn, and finally at Aurelia before nodding."Of course, my Lady."
"Heh~ Good! No men allowed!" She smirked.
Rayn looked towards Ladios before shrugging.
Aurelia brought her hand to her mouth before letting exaggerated cough.
"Ladios, do I have any more guests arriving?" Aurelia turned to the Archangel.
Ladios scratched his chin, "No, my Lady, the rest have refused to appear."
"Is that so..." Aurelia exhaled.
'It is truly a shame they refused... Raguel will be very mad.' She gripped the throne's armrest before pushing herself up.
It did not matter, they were given a chance, despite her wishes to spare them, they alone brought their doom by not obeying Raguel.
Now she had multiple days before the senate would begin, and she would be crowned a queen.
Not only was she not looking forward to it, but she was absolutely terrified.
'No, Aurelia, there is no reason to fear! Your new mom will be there and your future husband too!' She smacked her cheeks before walking towards the garden.
She really needed a break from dealing with the nobles.
Behind her Archangel trio wordlessly followed.
"I really want to enjoy a good glass of wine..." She stretched her back before leading the way towards the garden.
Her eyes wandered from side to side, the entire place was as tranquil and empty as it always was.
Despite once bustling with servants maintaining it and her father making sure she wouldn't spend too much time in his presence, now it belonged only to her.
She could relax and enjoy a drink or food brought by her new maids, who were in all metrics extremely loyal and frankly zealous at serving her.
No matter how much time passed, she still couldn't get used to it.
Aurelia, the so-called 'Princess of Fools' was now being eagerly served by diligent servants.
And unlike how many would call anyone serving her a fool, these maids were far from it.
Despite landing in hard times and being forced to live in sewers without being provided support by the royal family, they were all capable young ladies and gentlemen, with some of them having enough experience to easily do any job that the palace required.
Aurelia approached her chair before taking a seat.
In a moment Maids that awaited nearby rushed, elegantly moving despite their dresses, certainly causing issues.
"How may we serve, your majesty?" The maid duo bowed in unison.
One was the girl from before that served her ever since Cedric had healed her, but the other one was unknown.
The other maid was slightly taller, she had short brown hair and green eyes. Other than that her face had clear signs of anxiety, her whole body was trembling slightly, something that Aurelia could easily pick up on.
Aurelia blinked at them. She knew one of these maids, but she did not remember the other girl. "Girl, what is your name?"
She yelped, "I am Catya, your majesty! I was told that I would be best suited as your maid." She bowed deeply.
"Forgive her, your majesty. She was nervous about meeting you all day." She smiled gently.
Aurelia looked over both girls once again. "You don't need to be afraid of me. I am very nice!"
Arelia spoke in very informal tone, making sure to ease the tensions of the girl.
"But..."
"No Buts, Catya. All of my servants are to find joy in my service; only then will I be satisfied." Aurelia grinned, trying to reassure the girl.
Why did she find it necessary to soothe the girl? Recently, her mind was invaded by a thought.
A thought of how good a mother she would be if Cedric took her soon, and the resulting creation of a son or even a daughter.
The answer was that she was ill-prepared.
When she observed Raguel, it merely amplified her own insecurity and inadequacy.
It was one of many reasons she attempted to emulate Raguel, a woman who acted like a true mother.
The girl bowed, her worry alleviated slightly, "I understand your majesty, what may we bring for you?"
"Just some wine, and 4 glasses for me and my Guardians." Her lips curled into a soft smile.
The maid duo bowed deeply, "At once, your majesty!" Afterward, they rushed inside the palace.
"Come, I know you don't mind standing, but join me for a drink!" Aurelia gestured for Angels to take a seat.
Despite not needing to rest, she still felt terrible about making them stand all day.
They looked at her in confusion, but she didn't care, emulating Raguel, she spoke sternly, "Sit!"
An order made them freeze for the moment before they bowed and took their seats.
'Another lesson from Raguel... mhm Mom really knows how to teach!' She nodded.
"I don't want you 3 to merely be my guardians and advisors! I want you to be my friends too..." She sheepishly said.
Ladios was about to speak before being interrupted.
"No, Ladios, you are not a servant to me! You are my family!" She smiled.
It was moments more before two maids returned, carrying crystal glasses and a bottle of wine.
'I really shouldn't indulge this much... but I drank 2 bottles and didn't get drunk...' She sighed, being absolutely smashed was half the fun when drinking.
