It was never a good thing when you were called to the nationals office. Not that I was ever called there for bad reasons, it was just that I was scheduled for two meetings in one week both for club and national.
Edward didn't mention anything when he got home. Practice was the same as always and the team was looking good for this weekend's game. Therefore I knew there was nothing to worry about. However it wasn't also great to miss out on matches so early on. Maybe it was my sick note.
It was possible they wanted to know why. I couldn't come up with a lie that fast therefore I rehearsed when I was driving down. I didn't tell Edward I was going to the offices because it was frankly none of his business. He was at a photoshoot anyway.
Apparently he had some male skin product to advertise. I wanted to tease him so badly for that but I kept it to myself. Otherwise we would be having a whole 'snow white' argument again and I wasn't keen to open that wound just yet.
