"It's really delicious!"
Hugo laughed quietly. As Winter tilted her head in confusion, Hugo reached out and wiped the soup from the corner of her mouth. Then he casually put his soup-covered finger into his own mouth.
"What... are you doing?"
Winter's face turned bright red. Hugo nonchalantly licked his finger once more. Then he grinned at Winter.
Seriously, he's impossible, Winter muttered as she buried her face in the soup bowl. Winter began to eat the soup in big spoonfuls, keeping her head down to try to hide her reddened face.
"The aurora index was quite high."
"Today?"
Winter lifted her head at Hugo's words. In just a few days, they would have to leave this place to visit Snowflake's Nordic office in Oslo. Winter had been secretly disappointed, thinking they probably wouldn't be able to see the aurora this time.
"Yes, today."
Hugo nodded seriously, as if he knew Winter's feelings. He had never once asked her why she wanted to see the aurora so badly.
