He glanced at the time, it was past midnight, and though he had originally planned to come back for some sleep, he was now not particularly bothered. Deciding to leave all these annoying things behind, he headed out once again.
"Where are you going so late?" Zhou Ruoyun asked with a shrill voice.
"I'm off to the hospital for the night shift," he said as he opened the door, leaving for the second time tonight.
Returning to his department, the tranquil environment and familiar surroundings finally calmed his agitated mind. The on-call doctor had just finished with a patient and returned to the office. Seeing him, the doctor was quite surprised, "Yo, Egg Brother, it's not your shift today, is it? What's with the eagerness?"
He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Ever since the last team meeting, he had been stuck with this nickname, and now Egg Brother was famous...
"I forgot something, came back to get it, and figured I might as well not go home," he said.
