"Ding Ding..." he felt her statement was utterly bizarre.
But she was reminded of the infuriating incidents before he left for the United States and couldn't help but retort, "Oh, the boy has grown up, huh? Finally able to get your money back from your mom?"
"What do you mean?" he was confused, "When did my mom take my money?"
"Your mom said it herself! She said you gave her all your wages to open a restaurant for your Manman, and the future earnings would belong to your whole family! Manman gives you an allowance! Be careful, spending money on flowers for an outsider like me, your mom might scold you!" she said with a dismissive snort.
He was dumbfounded, but soon grasped what was going on and could only sigh inwardly, "You've got it wrong, I didn't give my mom my salary..."
"What about Manman's restaurant then? How did it start up?" she huffed.
