Chapter 165 - Chapter 166: Return to the Lunar World

The sky shimmered with hues of stardust as Jin and Velka stood before the celestial portal—an ancient gateway carved from the bones of fallen stars. It pulsed with silver light, swirling with the echoes of the Lunar World—the realm they once called home. Jin's long white hair danced in the ether wind, his crimson eyes unwavering. Velka walked beside him, one hand resting protectively over the gentle curve of her belly.

"It's time," Velka whispered.

Jin nodded. "Let's go home."

As they stepped through the portal, a wave of familiar energies surged forward—arcane winds, divine essence, the subtle pressure of power that only the Lunar World could hold. The cold air of their home world struck them with a comforting chill, fragrant with moonflowers and old magic.

A vast field stretched before them beneath the twilight moon, and from the far end of the valley, figures rushed forward, their auras unmistakable.

Kaelros. Lysander. Chris. Arden. Rin. Athena. Lillian.

At the rear stood Eva and Han Jin Hyuk—Jin's parents, regal as ever, though tears sparkled in Eva's eyes. Even Han, stoic and iron-willed, showed a rare softness.

But it was Lia who reached him first.

"Jin!" Her voice cracked as she sprinted into his arms. "You were gone for a long time.

Jin embraced her, his voice low and warm. "I had to find peace… and I found it—with her."

Lia pulled back, looking into his eyes—and then turned to Velka.

There was a moment of silence, heavy with the weight of history and pain. Then, Lia stepped forward and gently hugged Velka.

"Welcome back, Velka," she said sincerely.

Velka hesitated—but returned the gesture, her voice soft. "Thank you… Lia."

Around them, the others gathered. Athena's gaze brimmed with pride. Kaelros gave Jin a slow, approving nod. Arden chuckled under his breath, shaking his head with a rare smirk. Lysander whispered to Chris, "Look at him. Our Jin's finally come home."

Lillian stepped forward holding a bundle wrapped in silver silk. Her eyes sparkled. "There's someone we want you to meet…"

Jin turned—and his breath caught.

In her arms was a baby.

Tiny, delicate… with white hair like snow. Her eyes fluttered open—deep, glowing crimson.

Jin's voice trembled. "W-What…?"

Lia came to stand beside Lillian. "She's ours, Jin. She was born while you were gone. Her name is Eirlys. Snowdrop. The flower that blooms first after winter."

Jin became shocked and he knelt slowly, staring in awe. "I… I have a daughter?"

His hand brushed against her cheek. Tears formed in his eyes. "I wasn't here… I should've—"

"She doesn't need you to regret," Lia whispered. "She needs you to be here now."

Velka came beside him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "She's beautiful, Jin. Just like you."

Eva stepped forward, placing a hand gently over Velka's stomach. "And another one on the way?"

Velka nodded shyly. "Yes… a child born of peace."

Han Jin Hyuk chuckled, throwing an arm around Arden. "Two grandchildren. I never imagined this day."

Chris grinned. "The mighty Jin, a father twice over. Looks like you'll need divine babysitters."

Athena smirked. "Already arranged. I blessed Eirlys the moment she was born."

Rin clapped her hands with joy. "This… This is the future we've been hoping for."

Kaelros stepped up and placed a hand on Jin's back. "Welcome home, Supreme Commander. We never stopped believing in you."

Jin rose slowly, holding Eirlys in his arms. He looked around—at his wives, his family, his comrades.

"I've faced gods, monsters, and entire worlds," he said, voice thick with emotion. "But nothing… nothing ever made me feel this alive."

Lia and Velka each held his arm. Their bond now eternal, forged in fire and love.

"We are a family now," Lia said softly.

Velka smiled. "And we are not alone anymore."

Above them, the ancient Moon Tree bloomed once again—its petals falling like stars. The sky of the Lunar World gleamed as if the heavens themselves were celebrating.

Jin had returned. Not as a weapon. Not as a god.

But as a husband, a father, and a man finally at peace.

The moon hung low in the obsidian sky, draping the silver city of Lunaris in a tranquil luminescence. Crystalline towers shimmered like starlight, and beneath the sacred Moonshade Tree, a sense of stillness held the capital—an anticipation that gripped even the gods.

Within the Moonstone Chamber of their palace, the cries of pain echoed faintly. Velka, breathless and trembling, lay in bed as divine healers moved about carefully. Her golden hair was soaked in sweat, but her eyes—brilliant and unyielding—remained fixed on one thing: the door, waiting for Jin.

The chamber doors opened. Jin, breathless from rushing through corridors woven of astral silk, stepped in. His silver-white hair glowed under the divine lanterns, and his red eyes were wide with a deep, unspeakable mix of awe and fear.

"Velka…" he whispered, approaching.

She turned to him, her voice a fragile string. "Jin… it's time."

He held her hand tightly, brushing strands of hair from her face, kissing her knuckles with reverence. "I'm here. I won't leave."

As the divine light pooled in the chamber and the air shimmered with celestial energy, the cries of a newborn pierced the silence. It was soft at first—then louder, defiant, as if announcing his birth to the very fabric of the cosmos.

A healer gently lifted the baby, wrapped in an ethereal veil of lunar silk. "It's a boy," she said, smiling.

Jin's eyes widened.

The baby opened his eyes—burning with a shade of crimson far deeper than his father's. A streak of golden hair ran through the soft black strands on his head. Even in his infancy, his mana fluctuated unnaturally—chaotic, ancient, raw.

Velka looked at Jin, eyes full of tears. "Daemon…"

Jin held his son in trembling arms, sinking into the chair beside Velka. For a long moment, he said nothing.

Then a single tear rolled down Jin's cheek as he smiled, overwhelmed. "Daemon Luneblood…"

Velka leaned against him, exhausted but smiling. "He's beautiful, Jin…"

He nodded slowly, looking at her and then Daemon. "He's… a convergence. Of you, of me… and of something more. He carries our past… and the world's future."

The Lunar Palace, bathed in moonlight, had grown quieter as dusk fell upon the divine halls. A gentle wind passed through the silver-draped curtains as serenity reigned throughout. Inside the grand chamber, Jin sat in the center of a crescent-moon shaped couch, his long white hair cascading softly like a river of light. His crimson eyes, usually aflame with quiet calculation, now brimmed with gentle warmth.

In his arms rested the twin blessings of his world—Eirlys and Daemon.

Eirlys, swaddled in soft celestial silk, yawned sleepily while Daemon, whose tiny hand rested against Jin's chest, breathed in calm rhythm. Their aura—though faint—held hints of greatness yet to bloom.

Jin looked down at them with a quiet smile.

"They're warm," he whispered, adjusting his arms so neither child stirred. "Like stardust... breathing."

He didn't notice the quiet audience gathering outside the chamber—his loved ones, friends, and loyal companions.

Behind the slightly opened doorway stood Lia, arms folded with a tender look in her eyes. Her gaze never left the sight of Jin cradling the children, and a faint smile graced her lips.

"He looks... complete," she whispered softly.

Beside her, Nyreth stood with respectful silence, his expression unchanging—but his eyes gleamed with pride.

"He never held peace so delicately before," Nyreth said, nodding. "Yet now... he holds it like the most sacred of weapons."

Eva, Jin's mother, stepped beside Lia and chuckled lightly, tears of happiness building in her eyes. "He was always meant to be a father. Even as a child, he was stubborn and protective. Now look at him."

Han Jin Hyuk, his father, folded his arms with a nostalgic smirk. "I told him once—'one day you'll find a purpose bigger than vengeance.' Looks like he did."

Athena, arms behind her back, murmured under her breath, "The god of entropy... pacified by the laughter of stars not yet born."

Kaelros, leaning against the pillar with Lysander, whispered, "You know, for someone who broke realms and burned empires... he sure looks good as a pillow."

Lysander laughed. "Who knew the man who made the gods kneel would be melted by baby coos?"

Even Chris, Arden, Rin, and Lillian had gathered silently.

Rin blinked. "Should we... say something?"

Lillian shook her head. "No. Let him have this."

Inside, Jin hummed an old lullaby Velka once whispered to him during their quiet days by the lakeside in the other world. His voice, low and steady, blended into the hush of the chamber.

Velka, entering quietly behind him, sat beside him. Her head rested on his shoulder.

"They sleep best with you," she murmured, wrapping her hand around his.

Jin smiled. "Maybe they know... even chaos needs rest."

Velka chuckled lightly and brushed a strand of hair away from Daemon's cheek. "Or maybe their father's aura keeps the nightmares away."

There, beneath the pale moon and celestial glow, the once god of entropy—Jin Luneblood—found his quietest, most powerful moment.

No war. No schemes. No burdens.

Just him. His family. And the hush of eternity held in tiny, sleeping hands. Now he had realized the real meaning of peace.
