"What the hell is this?" Shin was dumbfounded as he processed the information from his clone.
This was the result of Shin's experiments. Initially, he had conducted different enhancement procedures on hundreds of military officers. However, when the Green Goblin blew up the lab, chaos ensued, and no one knew which experimental sequences had been activated. The result? The fusion of hundreds of officers into a single, monstrous giant with dozens of arms.
"As expected of a typical American comic—human experiments always go wrong, and everything mutates," Shin muttered.
He then saw the hundred-armed giant slap both the Red Hulk and the Abomination. The two behemoths were sent flying like ragdolls, crashing through multiple buildings and even smashing through the base's fortified walls before skidding across the ground, leaving deep trenches in their wake.
The sheer force of the impact sent violent shockwaves tearing through the base. A powerful gust swept through, nearly ripping apart the entire compound. Then, the giant let out a deafening roar.
The soldiers in the base instantly collapsed, blood gushing from their ears, noses, and mouths. Even the reinforced bulletproof glass in the control room shattered into countless fragments.
Across the battlefield, the Red Hulk and the Abomination struggled to their feet. As Ross surveyed the bodies of his fallen soldiers, his eyes turned bloodshot with fury.
Needless to say, he despised this thing.
Though he had retained his intelligence after transforming, his temper had been greatly affected by the gamma radiation. Under normal circumstances, he could restrain himself, but the moment he encountered a monster stronger than himself, his rage would explode.
Without hesitation, the two giants charged at the hundred-armed behemoth.
The monstrous titan, still somewhat dazed after its previous roar, only reacted when the two leaped toward it.
A dozen massive hands stretched out, snatching both the Abomination and the Red Hulk in midair. Then, with a terrifying display of strength, the hundred-armed giant hurled them both straight into the ground.
The impact was earth-shattering. The base trembled violently as a massive shockwave spread outward, sending debris and dust spiraling into the sky. The sheer force of the collision caused the ground to crack open—it was as if an earthquake had struck.
A moment later, magma began seeping from the fissures.
Seeing this, Shin gasped.
"Holy shit! So fusing a hundred of them actually makes them stronger? This is going to be a massive problem for America. Whatever, I'm out."
Without wasting another second, Shin activated Kamui and vanished, leaving the hundred-armed giant standing there, still confused about what was happening.
Shin wasn't entirely sure what happened afterward. He only knew that General Ross resurfaced after some time, and not long after, reports of a nuclear test at the desert base began circulating.
But the real fallout?
Oscorp was practically finished.
This wasn't exactly surprising.
Previously, Oscorp's Green Goblin suits had been discreetly showcased to the U.S. military, but the officials in charge weren't idiots. It was only a matter of time before they traced the weapons back to their source.
In the movies, Norman Osborn had only dealt with his company's shareholders—people he could manipulate or eliminate. However, this time, the situation was far worse.
Not only had Osborn personally led an attack on a military base, but he had also completely sabotaged the military's Titan Program, resulting in widespread devastation.
It would be shocking if the military didn't want him dead.
Whether he lost his mind after becoming the Green Goblin or simply underestimated the consequences, one thing was certain—he had made a huge mistake.
General Ross, having barely escaped with his life, personally led a military raid on Osborn Tower. He was so enraged that he nearly transformed into the Red Hulk on the spot and tore Norman Osborn apart with his bare hands.
Unlike the police, the military didn't need to prove anything. They stormed Osborn's corporate headquarters, arrested Norman Osborn Sr., and ransacked his home.
They found every single Green Goblin suit the company had ever produced.
At that point, Osborn had no way of denying his involvement.
If Oscorp hadn't been part of the military-industrial complex, with its financial interests deeply tied to the U.S. government, Norman Osborn would have been executed outright. Even so, he barely escaped with his life.
The final verdict? Life imprisonment.
And Oscorp?
The military confiscated many of its exclusive technologies, stripping the company of its most valuable assets.
Meanwhile, Shin watched the entire situation unfold with amusement.
As an unexpected bonus, Shin's supposed "death" was officially recognized by the military. General Ross even held a memorial service for him, going so far as to visit Kingpin to express his condolences.
In Ross's mind, Shin had been one of Kingpin's most valuable scientists. With his death, Ross assumed that Kingpin was devastated.
Originally, Ross had planned to arrest Shin after their collaboration was over. But now that he was "dead," there was no longer any conflict between Ross and Kingpin.
Using this as leverage, Kingpin took the opportunity to purchase a portion of the Oscorp's military-seized shares. While the amount was small, it was enough to secure him a seat on Oscorp's board of directors.
Of course, Kingpin had no real interest in taking over Oscorp.
This was all part of Shin's plan.
His true goal was to gain access to Oscorp's top-secret research division.
Although Oscorp's technology wasn't as advanced as Stark Industries, it was still far superior to anything else in the industry.
A Few Months Later…
Shin received word that Doctor Doom's space station was nearing completion. The Fantastic Four were preparing for launch.
Thanks to Kingpin's vast connections, several Flying Thunder God markers had been discreetly placed aboard the spacecraft. This meant Shin didn't have to do anything himself.
As he calculated the timeline, he muttered to himself,
"It looks like the Fantastic Four's origin story is about to unfold."
Before proceeding, Shin handed the Super Soldier Serum and Hulk Serum to Kingpin for research. While Kingpin's scientists weren't geniuses, they were competent enough to analyze and refine the formulas.
Once the time was right, the research would be transferred to Oscorp. Shin recalled that the company had a brilliant scientist named Dr. Curtis Connors—better known as The Lizard.
Osborn's downfall had left Dr. Connors in a precarious situation. Kingpin, seeing an opportunity, offered to fund his research, which Connors eagerly accepted.
Once Shin confirmed that Connors was trustworthy, he would make him the lead scientist for his projects.
With the amount of research Shin had, even if Connors worked 24/7, he wouldn't be able to finish it all.
Three Days Later…
Standing before a massive space launch site, Shin observed Doctor Doom, who was proudly announcing his own participation in the upcoming space mission.
Shin smirked.
"This guy must really trust Reed Richards' technology. Otherwise, he'd never dare to set foot on that spacecraft."
