The Red Hulk, now embodied by General Ross, and the Abomination, incarnated by Emil Blonsky, quickly clashed.
The two were nearly equal in terms of physical endurance, strength, and speed. However, when it came to combat skills, although General Ross was an experienced soldier, he had been away from the front lines for years. Compared to Emil Blonsky, who was obsessed with power and practically a martial arts fanatic, Ross was clearly at a disadvantage.
To some extent, Blonsky was the ultimate soldier, honing his abilities to the limit. It was only natural that his combat prowess surpassed that of General Ross.
As a result, Ross was severely beaten. Unlike the Hulk, he couldn't grow stronger through rage. If not for his incredibly durable body, he would have been killed already.
In truth, starting with the Hulk, all of them had stronger defensive capabilities than offensive ones. So, even though Abomination had the upper hand, his relentless attacks only left Ross battered and dazed rather than seriously injured.
If these two truly wanted to settle the fight, it would take at least an hour or two. But by then, the entire experimental base had already sprung into action.
Ever since the Hulk appeared, the base's weapons and defenses had undergone major upgrades, primarily out of fear that another monster like the Hulk might emerge. As a result, many of the weapons had been designed specifically to counter such threats.
A squad of soldiers rolled in, piloting tanks armed with strange-looking weapons. With a series of beeping sounds, blue energy beams shot out, striking Abomination and making him howl in agony. Thick, magma-like blood oozed from his wounds.
"Electromagnetic rail guns? These must be experimental prototypes. Damn, they were probably brought here specifically to deal with them like these."
Then, another wave of buzzing sounds filled the air as invisible shockwaves hammered into Abomination's body. Shin immediately recognized the technology—these were the sonic weapons General Ross had deployed against the Hulk in the movies.
Even against the Hulk, these weapons had proven somewhat effective, dealing significant damage—until the Hulk, enraged, tore them apart.
But only the true Hulk could grow stronger through anger. As a flawed imitation, Abomination lacked that crucial advantage. Despite his resilience, the advanced weaponry began pushing him back.
"Just as I thought. These subspecies of Hulks, while powerful, are still vulnerable to human technology—except for the real Hulk," Shin mused.
Just when it seemed like the situation was under control, a manic laugh rang out from above. A figure, clad in armor and riding a high-tech glider, swooped through the air, scattering pumpkin-shaped bombs.
"This is my gift! Hope you like it! Hahahaha!"
A series of explosions rocked the base. The tanks and sonic cannons were flipped over, torn apart by the blasts. Abomination, who had been struggling just moments ago, suddenly got a second wind. With a loud laugh, he surged forward again.
"Shit, isn't that the Green Goblin? Is he out of his mind attacking a military base?!"
Despite his reputation for tormenting Spider-Man, the Green Goblin's combat abilities weren't that impressive. His tech made him a formidable foe in urban environments where civilians limited the use of heavy weapons. But here? If he had attacked a fully operational military base alone, he'd have been torn apart in minutes.
His only advantage was Abomination, who was keeping the base's defenses occupied. With the military's firepower distracted, the Goblin had free reign to rain destruction from above.
Shin's lab became his primary target.
"This guy… does he have a grudge against me? Or does he just want to make sure the experiment fails?"
What Shin didn't know was that after witnessing the success of the Red Hulk, the US military had completely dismissed Norman Osborn's human enhancement projects.
US military officials had even showcased the Red Hulk's incredible power, directly mocking Osborn, claiming his bio-weapon advancements were obsolete.
After seeing Ross's transformation firsthand, Osborn realized his company's entire bio-weapons division was doomed. His own enhancements were utterly inferior.
Just when he was drowning in frustration, Abomination found him and proposed an alliance. Together, they would sabotage the 'Titan program' and ensure its failure.
Of course, they had no idea that Shin didn't even have the ability to produce Titans in the first place.
Driven by desperation, Osborn went all in—enhancing himself into the Green Goblin. With military schematics provided by Abomination, he managed to bypass most of the base's security measures, launching a surprise attack that completely paralyzed its defenses.
Then, he turned his wrath on Shin's lab, ensuring it was reduced to nothing but rubble before making his escape, cackling madly.
Shin clenched his fists, resisting the urge to obliterate the Green Goblin with Almighty Push.
"Let it go… this bastard just saved me the trouble. It's just some experimental equipment, after all... Damn it! I'm still pissed off! Norman Osborn, you son of a—"
"Damn it! What have you done?!" Red Hulk roared furiously, but Abomination only laughed, preparing to retreat.
One-on-one, Abomination was confident he could defeat Ross. However, the base, while in chaos, still had plenty of powerful weaponry that hadn't been deployed yet. Staying any longer would be a mistake.
Blonsky was still a tactical expert. Though his transformation had made him more violent, it hadn't dulled his strategic instincts. Now that his objective had been met, he had no reason to continue fighting.
Just as he was about to escape, a thunderous roar echoed from the ruins of Shin's demolished lab.
A massive figure emerged—a terrifying, monstrous giant over ten meters tall, covered in grotesque muscle, with dozens of enormous arms stretching from its body.
