"Thank you, Uncle Two," Ariel Ocean smiled sweetly and closed the office door. As soon as she turned around, her smile disappeared and a cold look flashed in her eyes. She had kept her anger in and agreed to Eric Ocean's request so she could slowly get closer to the Ocean Family, investigate her parents' car accident, and find the other will her dad left behind. Eric had always been suspicious of her, and if she didn't agree, he'd be even more careful around her. Then it would be even harder for her to go back to the Ocean Family manor later on.
As she turned the corner of the stairs, she bumped into Hailey.
"Ariel, I heard you asked my dad for a two hundred thousand commission?!" Hailey raised her chin and shouted meanly. "You really dare to ask for that, like a lion opening its mouth!"
Ariel stayed calm and cool.
"It's what I should get. If you can get investment from the Li Group, you can go do it too."
