Her mouth dropped open. "What… what the hell is this?!"
Before she could even react, she saw her video on her homepage.
It was her. Screaming at a junior stylist on set. Shoving someone's hand away. Mocking another girl's dress behind her back.
A new title hovered on screen in white bold font:
"The True Face of Alexa"
Her hands began to tremble. Her phone buzzed again—another brand had canceled their deal. Her PR team had messaged 10 times in the last hour.
Alexa's skin turned pale. Her heart thudded violently in her chest.
And then, she realized.
Her account was hacked.
Panicking, Alexa quickly dialed her manager again.
"It wasn't me! That post, that story, those videos—someone hacked my account! You have to tell them it's fake!" she said in a rush, her voice shaking now.
But her manager was already furious.
