"Captain Sigurd, please provide support to the Colonial Marines."
Upon receiving Xiaoqiang's notification and seeing the radar marker on his helmet display showing the Marines' position under ambush, Logan Sigurd wasted no time.
"Ha! Finally, some bugs to kill!"
Logan turned and left the bio-lab-converted drainage channel without hesitation.
Moving into the sewer tunnel, where the ceiling nearly scraped the top of his helmet, he issued a command over the comms:
"First and Second Squads, follow me. The remaining squads and auxiliaries continue clearing out the cultist scum and Weyland-Yutani facilities and mercenaries.
And listen up! No prisoners! Wipe these traitorous bastards clean off the map!"
Without waiting for a response, Logan and twelve Space Wolves disappeared into the dark, murky sewer.
Thud, thud...
The dull sound of magnetic boots splashing through the water grew fainter as they charged forward without any intent of stealth. They were here to fight—head-on and relentless.
Their ability to deploy to Argos alongside the recon teams and investigation department had already pushed the limits of subtlety for the Space Wolves.
Even Logan, as wild as he was, understood the significance of this unified operation—the first military deployment since the Empire's establishment. It was thanks to their Primarch's negotiations that the 14th Company had secured their opportunity. Thus, Logan grudgingly followed Xiaoqiang's orders to the letter.
Back in the drainage channel, after Logan's departure, a large number of auxiliaries wearing Macroph Power Armor moved in to secure the site.
Equipped with hard-light and gauss weapons, the auxiliaries meticulously collected research-worthy materials before setting the rest ablaze, destroying all traces of the cultists and Weyland-Yutani's experiments.
Once the task was complete, the auxiliaries continued their sweep of the area.

Roughly 600 meters away, at a large pump station:
Tat-tat-tat-tat!!
Gunfire rattled sharply through the pump station.
Splatter! Squish!
Hiss—Shriek!
The sound of hardened flesh being torn apart by explosive pulse rounds and the shrieks of xenomorphs echoed both inside and outside the pump station.
Countless xenomorphs poured through various pipelines, converging on the pump station.
At the southern corner of the station, a group of Colonial Marines was putting up a desperate fight, firing their weapons wildly to hold back the onslaught.
Initially numbering almost thirty, the three Marine squads were now reduced to just seven, fighting against xenomorphs that outnumbered them several times over.
The rest of the Marines had either been ambushed and dragged away, torn apart on the spot, or attacked by facehuggers. Eight Marines lay unconscious behind the surviving seven, victims of the parasitic creatures.
As for the Argos Police SWAT team?
Half of the SWAT officers had already been recalled to handle riots breaking out on the surface, per their department's latest orders.
The remaining half had followed the Marines into the pump station, only to be ambushed by xenomorphs shortly afterward.
Though more combat-capable than regular police, the SWAT officers were no match for the seasoned Marines when faced with the xenomorphs' terrifying speed, resilience, and deadly claws.
In the confined, dimly lit space, the SWAT officers' morale quickly collapsed. Many were killed outright, while others were captured to become breeding hosts.
The more experienced Marines had fought their way to a corner of the pump station, where they made a stand against the relentless xenomorph assault.

Tat-tat-tat—Click!
Suddenly, the squad's smart gun fell silent.
"Dammit! I'm out of ammo!"
The female smart-gunner cursed loudly as she discarded the empty M56A2 smart gun to lighten her load. Drawing a sidearm from its holster, she continued firing alongside her dwindling squad, trying to hold off the approaching xenomorphs.
The xenomorphs, sensing that their most dangerous opponent had run dry, intensified their assault.
Moments ago, their attacks had been probing, sacrificing lower-ranked drones to deplete the Marines' ammunition. Now, the tide turned.
The Marines' M41A pulse rifles and M56A2 smart guns were highly effective against carbon-based lifeforms, boasting exceptional penetration and explosive capabilities.
The pulse rifle's magazines held 99 caseless rounds, using electromagnetic acceleration for remarkable armor-piercing performance. Each round exploded on impact, scattering micro-steel pellets outward for maximum lethality.
The M56A2 smart gun was similarly devastating, requiring only a general aim in the target's direction for the weapon's advanced targeting system and mechanical arm mount to do the rest.
But with their ammunition running dangerously low, the surviving Marines were quickly running out of options.
"Who's got grenades?!" the female gunner shouted after loading her pistol's final magazine. "If I'm going down, I'm taking some of these bastards with me!"
"I've got one!" a local Marine from Wangchuan Yue called out, retrieving a high-explosive grenade from his pack.
"Ha! Better to die for humanity than at the hands of some rebels!" another Marine laughed bitterly, reflecting on the morally ambiguous conflicts they had fought in.
Despite their grim resolve, the Marines' grim fate seemed inevitable. Their ammunition was almost gone, and the xenomorphs were closing in.
The Marine with the grenade prepared to pull the pin, ready to ensure a quick, painless death for himself and his comrades.
---
Bang—Bang-Bang!
Suddenly, the sound of 75-caliber explosive rounds echoed from the passage leading to the pump station.
Splatter! Squelch!
Screeech!
The xenomorphs recoiled as some of their number exploded into pieces.
Both the Marines and the xenomorphs paused in confusion, the latter turning toward the source of the noise.
Through pheromone communication, the xenomorphs understood that a far greater threat had entered the fray.
Abandoning the remaining Marines, they turned to retreat.
---
Thud, thud.
Before they could escape, a towering figure in Titan power armor ducked into the pump station's entrance, blocking their path.
Hissss—Shriek!
The xenomorphs let out their distinctive screeches and launched a coordinated attack, with six drones rushing forward from different angles.
Boom—Splat!
The Marines barely saw the giant's movements. In the blink of an eye, all six xenomorphs were smashed or torn apart by his bare hands.
The last of the six found its neck crushed in one hand and its hind legs snapped in the other before the figure ripped it in half.
---
Ssssss—!
The xenomorph's acidic blood splattered onto the armored boots of the giant. While it quickly corroded the ground, the Titan armor's surface only lost its paint, revealing the dark silver beneath.
---
For the surviving Marines, the sudden turn of events was almost surreal.
In mere seconds, the giant had accomplished what they would have needed massive firepower to achieve.
The acidic blood that could melt their flesh and armor barely fazed him.
Even the xenomorphs, highly intelligent creatures, hesitated in confusion, unable to comprehend the giant's overwhelming strength.
---
Logan Sigurd, having dispatched the attackers with ease, tossed aside the torn xenomorph corpse.
Removing his helmet, he revealed a youthful but rugged face with scruffy blonde hair and an unkempt beard.
By exposing his human features, Logan sought to reassure the Marines of his identity. He had no patience for lengthy explanations.
---
Ptui!
Spitting at a nearby xenomorph, Logan's saliva hit its face.
Sizzle!
The xenomorph's head melted instantly, its body collapsing lifelessly to the ground.
Even the xenomorphs' acid-resistant exoskeletons couldn't withstand Logan's corrosive spit.
"Dammit! That was fresh paint!" Logan cursed, annoyed at the damage to his armor.
---
The remaining xenomorphs quickly learned what it meant to face the wrath of a Space Wolf. Logan charged into the fray, tearing through their ranks with unrelenting fury.
Emboldened by his example, the surviving Marines regained their will to fight, hurling grenades and unloading their last rounds as they joined the battle.
