"Huh?"
Before the arrow could reach Li Chen, it was caught by a hand.
It was as if Li Chen had eyes on the back of his head; he casually caught the arrow, snapped it in half, and threw it aside.
Turning his head, Li Chen frowned.
The scent he detected earlier came from that direction.
However, after he caught the arrow, that aura vanished into thin air.
"Brother Cheen! Are you okay?"
Seeing the arrow Li Chen threw aside, Cherie finally reacted and quickly asked Li Chen.
"I'm fine." Li Chen shook his head. The arrow's power wasn't strong, only enough to pierce a regular person's arm, and it couldn't even penetrate. It seemed to only aim at his shoulder.
Feeling the aura disappear, Li Chen paid it no more attention, assuming it was some creature's probe.
In this world, such probes were quite common, and besides, that aura was rather weak.
As night approached, Li Chen had Cherie go through her herbal studies while he started building a fire.
