The Silver Age!
The Heroic Age!
This is an era where gods gather, myths intertwine, and humans coexist with gods, demi-humans, heroes, and more.
In short, this is an extraordinarily unique era. Whether from the perspective of humans, heroes, or even gods, no matter the angle or direction, it's clear that this will be the most chaotic era of all. Whether it's the Ancient Age of the Ancient Gods or the Golden Age of the Titans, both eras were marked by the collision of gods. And those battles among gods followed the most basic rules.
Gods, after all, are rare beings capable of miracles. But that's the very nature of gods: they tend to follow a steady path of cultivation. Even Hades, despite everything he went through, which seemed miraculous, actually achieved everything through step-by-step progress, countless hours of cultivation, and facing dangerous life-and-death situations.
This is entirely normal. It's the essence of gods. For a god, sparking a miracle that can bring them power is nearly impossible.
However...
For Hades, the only true miracles are the birth of each perfect Underworld warrior. Every time he finds one, it's a true miracle. This is undeniable and beyond question.
But!
Compared to gods, humans are fundamentally different.
Of course, this doesn't refer to the humans of the Golden Age. In some ways, the humans of the Golden Age lacked an essential part of themselves. Yet, even then, humans can trigger miracles. And the miracles sparked by humans are virtually limitless. This isn't just talk; it's an undeniable truth.
Even in the Golden Age, humans could create miracles. For instance, the Spartans were a standout example. It's no exaggeration to say that the Spartans, as humans of the Golden Age, still managed to produce miracles. What does that mean? Naturally, it's self-explanatory.
In fact!
Looking at it from another perspective, it becomes clear that while gods rule the mythological world, they are often tools of fate. Every god's destiny is predetermined, whether they are minor deities, god-kings, Ancient Gods, or even the Creator Gods like the Earth Goddess.
From this, it's evident that humans are the favored children of fate. Only humans can truly spark miracles. And the Silver Age is the most unpredictable era of all.
In this era, humanity will experience unprecedented growth. Miracles! Heroes! Glory! In this age, all will be brought forth without limit, endlessly unfolding.
What will the outcome of all this be? Perhaps everything controlled by the gods will be completely shattered and destroyed in this era.
And that is the most terrifying aspect.
Because!
No one knows, no one can predict, and no one can fully understand what lies ahead.
Hades! Poseidon! Zeus!
The God-Kings and Ancient Gods are interweaving in this era, just as humanity and the gods intertwine.
"Hypnos," Thanatos hesitated slightly and asked softly, "Should we inform His Majesty about this? Or...?"
Hypnos shook his head calmly. "His Majesty is naturally aware of this. And since he hasn't said anything, don't you understand what this means, Thanatos?"
"I understand."
Hypnos' words immediately made Thanatos realize what was happening.
Their lord, unaware? That's impossible! Since their lord has remained silent, it proves that he doesn't intend to interfere in this matter. Even with the birth of the giant race bearing the blood of the Titans, their lord still doesn't plan to get involved.
If that's the case...
Everything is already clear. If they still couldn't comprehend this, they wouldn't be fit as servants. Hypnos understood this well, and so did Thanatos.
Thanatos, by nature, was prone to impatience. He often didn't think things through clearly, leading to minor issues.
Of course, this wasn't a significant problem. Thanatos and Hypnos, as twin gods, were, in a sense, one and the same. Since they were two parts of a whole, neither dwelled too much on these details. A simple reminder between them was enough.
"Alright," Hypnos said softly. "Thanatos, there's no need to overthink this. Some things are beyond our control. What we need to do is wait."
"I understand."
Thanatos nodded calmly. Despite his impatient and fiery nature, he knew this was an era where the God-King and even Ancient Gods, perhaps even the Creator Gods, were making their moves.
In such a situation, their role wasn't just to perform their duties well. They needed to handle everything flawlessly. Otherwise, if any problem arose, it would cause tremendous trouble.
"Hypnos," Thanatos said calmly, "This matter isn't over yet. For now, I'll take care of it. You manage everything in the Underworld."
Hypnos nodded. "I understand."
Hypnos knew that their lord's silence meant they didn't need to intervene directly. However, certain matters must still be followed up on. If, when the critical moment came, they had no intelligence to offer, that would be embarrassing.
In other words!
The war between the gods, set to erupt in this Silver Age, was the ripple effect of the end of the Golden Age. Turmoil was about to ignite, and all sides would gradually take action. Otherwise, if they hesitated for even a moment, it could lead to a chain of delays. And no one knew what the consequences of falling behind would be.
