Chapter 196 - Ch. 198

"And why are you here?" Hela asked in a curious voice.

"Well, I was quite tempted to stand by and watch you tell Odin how much of an idiot he has been," Harry admitted. "but for all I know you could start throwing spikes at this lot." Harry said as he gestured to the other Asgardians.

"Why would I hurt my own people?" Hela scoffed. "Now that they know the truth, they'll…"

"Not do anything unless you force them to," Harry interrupted. "you see these people have been living happily and comfortably under Odin's rule for thousands of years, they liked living under his rule. They're not going to all of a sudden hate him and worship you just because you claim that he's a bad father and has lied to them, no matter how true it is. Oh, you've put doubt into their heads, don't doubt that, but do doubt the effectiveness of your actions. Because while they might doubt, they'll also rationalize. As far as they know, there might be a perfectly good and valid reason."

"And what makes you an expert on Asgardian psychology?" Hela scoffed, ignoring his words, even if they did echo in her head.

"Not an expert on Asgardians, but I've seen this before." Harry shrugged. "Not on the scale of an entire kingdom, but I have seen this before. One old man, strongest there is, wisest there is, everyone follows him, even to their deaths. I've experienced that."

"Oh, expecting sympathy?" She said mockingly.

"Merely revealing some common ground." Harry replied. "Now, do we do this the easy way or the hard way?"

"Hmm," Hela smirked as she ran her hands over her head, her spiky helmet returning. "does this answer your question? Do you even think you can handle me?"

"In our last meeting I was exhausted after keeping your old man alive, I'm not exhausted anymore." Harry said before extending his magic power out. Hela's smirk remained on her face for a few moments before Harry's magic finally reached her.

"You… what?" She said, looking confused. She eyed Harry like she wasn't entirely sure what he was. "I sense death coming from you." She said, sounding like she wasn't entirely sure what to think.

"Yeah, we've never properly been introduced." Harry said, rolling his neck. "My name is Harry Potter," Harry said before his civilian clothes were replaced with his battle suit, the lower half of his face was covered by his mask and his hoodie came up to cover the top of his head. "I'm the 'Master of Death'."

.....

"Master of…" Hela trailed off, her eyes fixed on Harry, she looked him up and down, searchingly, as if trying to find something. A moment later her shoulders dropped slightly as her entire stance relaxed, apparently not finding whatever it was she was looking for. "… ignoring that for a brief moment, a very brief moment, I must ask, where did you get that suit?" She said, her voice was slow and almost quiet.

"A bald woman." Harry answered with a straight face. "What's it to you? What's so special about it?" He asked.

"Ha," Hela chuckled, having seemingly recovered from whatever had bothered her. "if you don't know then I'm not going to solve it for you. But still, 'Master of Death'? I don't quite believe that. Oh, I can sense your power, but you are not the 'Master of Death'. Now, be gone, silly mortal, or else you shall suffer my wrath." She said dismissively before turning back to Odin. "As for you, I…" Whatever Hela was about to say was cut off as she found herself get blasted off of her feet. She flew backwards and crashed right into the throne, knocking it over while she fell just behind it.

"Your wrath can kiss my ass." Harry said before looking at the other Asgardians. "You all stay here, I'll deal with her."

"Deal with me?!" Hela's offended voice shot through the air just before Harry saw the throne fly towards him, Harry waved his wand and knocked it to the side in time to see Hela leap towards him. Harry stepped to the side, he was barely able to avoid the punch that she had thrown, he was surprised by her speed but was quickly able to recover. Before she was able to properly land he had grabbed her by the arm and shoulder and allowed her speed and momentum to assist him in throwing her over his head.

Hela found herself thrown a long distance past Harry, but was quickly able to recover and roll to her feet. She turned and found herself tackled by a flying Harry who managed to get her out of the throne room through the open doors. Hela quickly recovered and allowed a blade to appear in her right hand. The two of them flew down several hallways and bounced off a wall before Harry tried to teleport them away, unfortunately his concentration broke as Hela chose that exact moment to ram the blade into his shoulder.

A pained gasp escaped Harry's lips as his breath was driven out of his body by the knife, the two of them landed a short distance outside of the palace, Harry was rolled off Hela and found himself face down on the floor. He managed to get up to his knees, he took a look at the blade that was lodged in his left shoulder.

"Oh, does that hurt?" He head Hela's mocking voice from behind him.

"Little bit." Harry said in a dry voice. "You stabbed me in my second favourite shoulder." He said in a calm voice, letting out barely a hiss as he pulled the knife out so his body could heal the wound. He stared at the knife, quite surprised that it was able to pierce through his armour. All the spells he had tested against it weren't able to do that, yet Hela was. Though he wasn't too surprised, she had destroyed Thor's hammer which was also supposed to be indestructible. He glanced at his shoulder, he knew that his body had repaired itself and he was glad to see the armour had repaired itself as well, making it look like it had never been damaged in the first place.

"So," Hela spoke as she stopped just behind him. "have you perhaps wisely taken a moment to realize just how stupid you have been?" She said, Harry didn't need to look at her to know that she was supporting a smirk on her face. "Turn around and kneel before me, and I just might be forgiving." She said before pressing a conjured sword against the side of his neck. "You do not want to make an enemy of me, I will make your worst nightmares seem like pleasant dreams." She said, her voice soft but dangerous.

"Really?" Harry quietly laughed, his head shaking slightly.

"What is so funny?" Hela asked curiously. Harry turned his head towards her, allowing Hela to look into his burning, emerald green eyes.

"You have no idea what my nightmares are like." He said, his voice a near whisper. While Hela was distracted he lightly tapped the tip of his wand to the ground, an incredibly thin gold line exited from the wand and burrowed into the ground.
