Chapter 46 - Chapter 18: Beast for A Beast Part 6

Everything and everyone was frozen in their place, but that person looked once at their fellow Yava Viskans and then towards the fallen heroes on the battlefield.

They clenched their fist, closed their eyes, and took a deep breath. "Okay," they said, their eyes covered in the same bluish glow. They rushed towards that person, their body covered in that bluish energy.

Within a few minutes, they reached near that beast and launched a powerful punch at it. The force of that power was so strong it started to pull their arm apart. Soon, the area was covered in dust particles, and when the dust cloud settled, everything had changed.

That person was on their knees, blood rushing out of their mouth continuously, and their energy had faded away. Their body started to turn dark violet and then started to turn into dust. Their body was now inside that beast.

Their lips moved, but no one understood their final words as their remaining body was entering that beast's body. "Beast body, I…" these were the only words they could muster with all their might as they tried to turn to dust and become part of that beast.

Meanwhile

"What are you waiting for? Let's go help them!" Carciyan shouted, trying to free his hand from Tlenion's grip, but he did not let him go. "Why are you trying to stop me? Let me go! It will kill them all!" Tlenion coldly replied, "Including us."

"So what? I am not afraid of death, and after what… I mean, we have to protect them, otherwise…" Carciyan said but hesitated to complete his words. "You too know we cannot do this alone."

He looked towards that girl frozen in her place, and then he noticed something. "Where are you going?" Carciyan asked him, but he slowly and calmly moved towards her and then carefully started checking his suspicions.

"It looks like it moved a bit," he muttered. "Are you sure? Then that means…" Carciyan said in excitement. "I am not sure, but I can feel something has changed."

"We need to dig her out," he said, picking up his blade that he had put down earlier, and then added, "I feel something is fixing her to the ground, and…" he looked towards the herd of beasts all around them and continued, "and these beasts at the same time, and I am certain freeing her might free them too…" "So what? Even if we all die, she must live on. This is the desire and reason for the fallen Yava Viskans. So be it," Carciyan said.

"Okay, ready, Carciyan?" They increased their energy, and their bodies were overflowing with that strange energy. That humongous beast felt it too this time and started to change its direction towards them, unaware that they were busy with their work.

When their energy reached a certain level, Carciyan's blade started to respond to their energy. What was earlier a dagger of dangerous length had started to look more like a sword.

"Now what is this?" After some time, the blade was glowing with bright bluish energy, and when it turned normal, their blade was covered in bluish energy with occasional violet and purplish sparks.

The core was their actual blade, and the energy around it made it visually like a sword. Carciyan tapped the tip of his sword to the ground; the word cut into the ground like an actual sword, sharp and clean.

"This actually works," he said with a smile and then looked towards Tlenion, who was a bit confused and surprised to see what his blade or item had transformed into. "Is this…?" Carciyan asked curiously, and Tlenion nodded his head in affirmation.

Carciyan's blade was a short sword made from bluish energy. Around the guard area, there was a shadow of an item hidden inside it. That area was filled with a darker shade of bluish energy, as it was the source of that blade.

But Tlenion had received a bow without any arrow. His bow was made from the same bluish energy, but the core or that strange item was resting in the riser part of the bow. He tried to use the edge of his bow to cut into the ground, but it wasn't sharp enough to do any good.

"Don't worry, I will do this with ease," Carciyan said, putting a hand on his shoulder, and then moved towards her body. More beasts started to come to that area. Tlenion started moving towards them and said, "I am handling them; you do your task. Let's do this, Carciyan," Tlenion said.

Tlenion pulled his bowstring; nothing happened. Beasts started to close in towards him. Carciyan moved to help him but stopped and then, with a smile, returned to his task.

When Tlenion saw nothing happened, he closed his eyes and looked towards the core of his bow and the beasts at a distance. He gripped his hand on the core of the bow, his eyes glowed, his energy started to expand and then disappeared entirely, but his eyes' glow didn't fade.

The core of the bow was glowing with bright bluish energy, and then he pulled the string back. Energy particles started moving towards the string in a beautiful formation. After a few seconds, he released the string.

An energy arrow-like thing moved at a very fast speed. That arrow-like energy pierced the beast's body and went through it. The beast didn't feel anything at first and moved forward, but after a few steps, it fell to the ground.

Tlenion pulled the bowstring a few more times, and each time he pulled his string, a bright bluish energy was released.

As more energy arrows were fired, their power and efficiency increased. Earlier, his arrows could only reach a few meters before turning to nothingness. Now, they started to reach twice the length.
