Half an hour later, Leon and Zelda had finished their dinner.
Since Melissa had prepared a generous amount, they ate with great satisfaction until they were full.
"I didn't realize you weren't a vegetarian like Elina, Zelda," Leon remarked teasingly, wiping his lips with a tissue.
Melissa had served a variety of meat dishes, including lamb and chicken. At first, Leon thought he would be the only one to finish all the meat.
But to his surprise, Zelda enjoyed them as well—and with enthusiasm.
This caught Leon off guard. After all, Zelda was the Elf Queen, and like most Elves, she was probably a vegetarian.
Zelda took a handkerchief and gently wiped the corners of her lips. She smiled softly and met Leon's gaze.
"I used to eat only vegetables and beans. But after reading a book that explained the need for nutrients from poultry and lamb, I started to incorporate meat into my diet," she said casually.
"Oh? That's surprising," Leon said, raising an eyebrow slightly.
