Potter Estate...
After ensuring that the wounded were stabilized and watching the golden mist settle into peaceful stillness,
Leo bid farewell to Minister Jenkins.
The battle was over, for now—
But the scars would linger.
The surviving members of the Potter family, now gathered and awaiting transport to St. Mungo's, each came forward one by one.
Gratitude shone in their eyes.
An elder wizard, bruised but standing tall, grasped Leo's hand firmly.
"The Potters are in your debt, Lord Morningstar,"
He declared, his voice unwavering.
"From this day forward, know this—we stand with you, always."
Others murmured in agreement,
Some nodding solemnly, others placing their hands on their chests in a pledge.
Despite their losses, they stood united.
Leo offered a respectful nod.
Nod~
"Protect each other. That is your greatest strength."
As the Healers from St. Mungo's finished their preparations and the group began disappearing into swirling portals,
Jenkins approached Leo, her expression taut with lingering worry and unspoken thoughts.
"I'll handle the fallout here,"
She said.
"We'll begin a full sweep of Azkaban's ruins at sunrise."
Leo's gaze shifted toward the horizon.
"There's one more thing."
Jenkins arched an eyebrow.
"Delphini?"
Leo gave a sharp nod.
Nod~
"Voldemort may have escaped, but I doubt he'll ignore her. She's his only bloodline. That alone makes her a target. Or worse… a piece in his next game."
Jenkins frowned.
"____"
"Agreed. Keep her safe. You're the only one he truly fears."
With that,
Leo gave her a parting nod and disappeared in a whirl of shadows and flame, leaving behind only the faint scent of burnt magic.
Delphini's safety could not be gambled.
Because Voldemort never left loose ends.
As the cold night air began to settle after the chaos at the Potter estate,
Leo Morningstar apparated silently to the outskirts of a serene countryside.
Before him stood a modest yet elegant mansion, nestled among quiet trees and magical wards humming gently in the background—
A safehouse cloaked under protective enchantments.
This was Delphini's residence, the daughter of darkness raised in light.
He approached the front step and rang the calling bell.
Chime~
A melodious chime echoed through the air.
After a few moments, the door creaked open.
Creak~
"_____"
Delphini Riddle, now a grown woman, stood at the threshold—
Her silvery-blonde hair braided loosely, her robe slightly dusty as if she had just returned from a field expedition.
Her piercing blue eyes widened in surprise.
"P–Professor Morningstar?"
She blinked, stunned.
Leo offered a small, reassuring smile.
"Evening, Delphini. May I come in?"
Snapping from her shock, she stepped aside, ushering him in quickly.
"Of course! Please, come in."
The interior reflected her chosen profession—
Bookshelves filled with magical bestiary texts, floating jars containing rare eggs, and detailed drawings of magical creatures pinned across the walls.
The warm scent of ink, herbs, and parchment hung in the air.
She led him to a sitting room where two cups floated and settled themselves on the table—
Steam rising gently from freshly brewed tea.
"To what do I owe the honor?"
She asked, sitting across from him, her tone curious but guarded.
Leo looked at her with a seriousness that instantly shifted the air.
"Voldemort has escaped Azkaban."
The cup in Delphini's hand froze mid-air, then trembled slightly before she steadied it.
"...I see,"
She said quietly.
Leo continued,
"And he's not likely to forget about you. You're his only blood. Whether to use you... or to destroy what he cannot control, I can't say yet. But you need to be prepared."
Delphini's jaw clenched, eyes flickering with a cocktail of emotion—
Fear, anger, but also resolve.
"I chose a different path,"
She whispered.
"I walked away from his legacy. I earned my place in the magical world. I am not him."
Leo nodded.
Nod~
"I know. But he won't care. Which is why I'm here. You're under my protection now."
Delphini gave a quiet chuckle, shaking her head.
Chuckle~
"Always the protector, Professor."
"It's Leo now. You're not my student anymore."
She smiled faintly.
"Thank you… Leo."
There was a pause before Leo stood.
"____"
"____"
"Pack a few things. You'll be coming to Morningstar Mansion for now. I've reinforced the wards, and you'll be with others who understand what it's like to carry the weight of a name."
Delphini looked at him, and for a moment, the young girl who once questioned her place in the world flickered behind those sharp eyes.
Her both adopted parents were currently not with her they were at USA since her dad got a job there.
"Then give me ten minutes."
Leo gave a small nod, turning toward the window as moonlight spilled in across the room.
Nod~
The shadows outside whispered of storms still coming.
After Few Minutes...
Leo lazily closed the book, the soft thud of the cover meeting the table echoing in the quiet study.
It was Newt Scamander's newest edition of "Breeding and Behavioral Nuances of Lesser-Known Magical Quadrupeds." Surprisingly informative.
A soft pop came from his bubblegum as he blew a bubble, which burst with a faint snap.
Pop.
"____"
From above, Delphini's voice floated down the staircase.
"Professor—Leo? Can you come up for a moment? I need a little help…"
Leo's brow lifted slightly.
"Huh…"
Still chewing the gum, he rolled his eyes playfully and muttered,
"Hope she's not wrangling a Murtlap…"
He stood and made his way upstairs, the wood creaking softly beneath his boots.
The upstairs hallway was dim, lined with more magical creature sketches and softly glowing lanterns.
One of the wall frames shifted as he passed—
An enchanted painting of a sleeping Mooncalf opened one lazy eye at him and yawned.
As he approached Delphini's room, the door was ajar.
He gently knocked on the edge.
"Need a hand taming a troll, or are we talking something more dramatic?"
Inside, the room was a mix of elegance and chaos—
Half-packed suitcases,
A fluttering enchanted coat trying to shove itself into a trunk, and Delphini herself standing before a mirror, slightly flushed, struggling to close the clasp of her dress behind her back.
She turned her head slightly with a sheepish grin.
Grin~
"It's enchanted and it only lets the right person close it... I figured since you gave me this last year after graduation, it might listen to you."
Leo gave a low chuckle, stepping in.
Chuckle~
"So the dress is picky. Figures—it's got attitude like its former owner."
As he moved behind her, his fingers worked calmly at the clasp, which sparkled and clicked perfectly into place at his touch.
Delphini let out a relieved breath.
Sigh~
"Thanks."
"You're lucky it didn't decide to shrink on you for making it wait."
She smirked, turning around to face him.
"Then it wouldn't be the first Morningstar-made object with attitude."
Leo grinned, then popped another bubble as he looked her over.
"You're set?"
Delphini nodded, now composed.
"Yeah. Let's go."
Leo offered her his hand, the room suddenly feeling heavier with the quiet anticipation of what was ahead.
"Then it's time to take you somewhere safe."
She placed her hand in his.
A beat passed—
Then with a crack, they apparated away.
As soon as Leo and Delphini apparated before the towering gates of the Morningstar Mansion,
A faint breeze rustled the ancient trees lining the long path to the front door.
Delphini held her suitcase firmly, the weight of the evening still fresh on her shoulders.
As they stepped inside, she paused—
And her eyes widened in awe.
The grand entrance hall was buzzing with activity.
"____"
Strange creatures of all shapes and sizes moved about—
Some translucent and ethereal, others shadowy and grotesque, some elegant, some comically odd.
One long-limbed creature with multiple eyes offered her a polite bow while a small, floating puffball made a squeaky giggle before zipping away.
"Are these…? Are these magical beasts?"
Delphini asked, blinking in disbelief.
Leo chuckled beside her, amused by her genuine shock.
Chuckle~
"Not quite. These aren't magical creatures from our world."
"They're Yōkai—supernatural beings from another world entirely. And some are monsters from the world of monsters. They aren't classified under our magical creatures' list because… well, they play by different rules."
Delphini's jaw dropped slightly.
"____"
"Yōkai… and monsters...?"
She echoed, then whispered,
"Incredible…"
As she took in the scene—
Where a tall shadowy figure greeted with a friendly slap on the back—
she didn't even notice someone approaching from the side.
"Delphi?"
Delphini turned to see Narcissa. A warm smile spread across her face.
"Narcissa!"
The two hugged briefly.
It was a heartfelt moment—
The reunion of two former classmates, both having walked their own complicated paths, now reunited under the same roof.
"You're staying here too?"
Delphini asked.
"For now,"
Narcissa nodded.
"I came here after receiving my sister's invitation."
Delphini smiled at that—genuinely.
Just then, Kejoro, dressed in a muted silk kimono, came gracefully from the side, her long hair trailing behind like a living veil.
"Leo-sama,"
She bowed slightly teasing him,
"I will prepare a room for her."
Leo gestured toward Delphini.
"She's our guest. Make sure she's comfortable. And maybe keep the naughtier Yōkai out of that hallway for now."
Kejoro smiled, already understanding.
"Of course. Come with me."
As Delphini followed Kejoro with one last look back at Leo, she gave him a grateful nod.
Nod~
Leo, standing at the base of the stairs, watched them go, his arms loosely crossed.
"This mansion… keeps getting livelier,"
He murmured to himself with a faint smile.
Letting out a sigh,
Sigh~
"____"
Leo sank into the couch, finally allowing himself a brief moment of peace.
The cushions were plush, the fireplace crackled gently nearby, and for a moment, the weight of battle and chaos faded into the background.
But peace never lasted long at Morningstar Mansion.
With an almost comedic whoosh,
Whoosh~
The doors flew open and in came Dracula and Johnny, their expressions lit up with childlike excitement.
Dracula's cape billowed dramatically, while Johnny practically bounced like a golden retriever off a sugar high.
"Leo!"
Dracula boomed, eyes sparkling.
"Is it true?!"
Leo opened one eye and raised a brow, his voice dry.
"Is what true, exactly?"
"That you founded an organization in the other world!"
Johnny chimed in.
"A cool one! Like… some kind of Yōkai Guild?"
Dracula leaned in closer, grinning from ear to ear.
"They're calling it 'The Continental' or something! Is it true you made it?"
Leo gave a slight smirk and nodded.
Smirk~ Nod~
"____"
"Yes. In the yokai world, I created a neutral organization called the Continental. It's not just a guild—it's a sanctuary, a nexus, law management and an employment hub for Yōkai of all kinds of supernatural."
"It functions like a magical syndicate, but without the corruption. A place where Yōkai or other supernaturals can take up jobs, settle disputes, or simply find refuge."
Dracula's eyes gleamed.
"So like a monster-only society… with rules?"
"Exactly,"
Leo said, leaning forward a bit.
"Neutral ground. No violence is allowed within its premises. And for those who want to walk a different path—one that doesn't involve terrorizing humans—it gives them purpose. Structure. Dignity."
Johnny's mouth hung open, genuinely amazed.
"_____"
"Dude, that's like… epic. It's like a fantasy game and a hotel franchise in one."
Dracula clapped Leo on the back—hard.
"You never cease to amaze me. And to think I was impressed when you helped me fix the sauna's plumbing system!"
Leo gave a small chuckle.
Chuckle~
"Well, let's just say... I've got a thing for building homes for outcasts."
Dracula turned serious for a moment.
"You think someday… monsters from our world could work with your Continental? Maybe even have a chapter here?"
Leo leaned back, a thoughtful look in his eyes.
"That was always part of the plan."
And just like that, the spark of a new idea began to flicker.
The Continental—
Expanding across worlds, uniting supernatural beings under one banner of respect, strength, and peace.
Johnny blinked.
"Wait. Does this mean I get to wear a suit and sunglasses and say stuff like 'The Baba Yōkai will see you now'?"
Leo rolled his eyes.
"Don't push it, Johnny."
But even he couldn't help the small smirk tugging at his lips.
Smirk~
As the laughter and footsteps of Dracula and Johnny faded down the hallway—
Dracula already calling out for Nurarihyon excitedly—
Leo finally allowed himself a moment of silence.
He leaned back again on the couch, fingers tapping against the armrest as his mind whirred with the next steps.
But he wasn't done yet.
With a flick of his wand,
Leo summoned a glowing stream of silver mist—
His lion Patronus.
It prowled forward from the tip of his wand, majestic and powerful, its fur rippling with energy as it awaited his command.
Leo stood up, his tone serious as he spoke:
"Deliver this message to both Dumbledore and Grindelwald—tell them I want to meet. There's something urgent we need to discuss. The balance is about to be broken… and we need to be ready."
The lion raised its head, letting out a powerful, echoing roar that shook the air like thunder.
Then, like a flash of silver light, it bounded forward, leaping through the mansion walls and vanishing into the horizon—
traveling across wall, space, and magic itself to deliver Leo's words.
Watching it disappear, Leo whispered under his breath:
"Let's see what the old legends have to say…"
Meanwhile...
The blackened sky above the moors churned with malevolent clouds as a streak of dark smoke descended like a bolt from hell.
With a violent crackle, the smoke twisted and compressed before exploding outward, revealing Voldemort in his full wrath.
His pale, snake-like face contorted in fury.
His crimson eyes blazed beneath his cowl, and his clenched fists trembled—
Not from fear, but from the humiliation he had just endured.
He let out a scream of rage that echoed across the empty land, his voice filled with venom:
"MORNINGSTAAAR! You dare interfere again! AGAIN!!"
He stomped through the cracked earth, the remnants of his flying magic black mist still sizzling behind him.
Every step he took radiated with dark magic.
He hurled curses into the sky, causing crows to explode mid-flight and trees to rot where they stood.
"That cursed name… Always in my path… Always ruining my destiny…"
Voldemort fell to one knee, breathing heavily, the edges of his tattered robes brushing the dirt.
The words from the Divination—
the prophecy—
Rang louder in his ears than any battlefield.
"It will all begin with the death of James Potter..."
"If that's the seed of my doom… then I'll burn the orchard,"
He hissed.
"Every Potter. Every last drop of that wretched bloodline. I'll salt their graves and raze their name from history!"
He stood tall again, back straightening like a serpent preparing to strike.
Then, slowly… solemnly… he raised his wand toward the sky.
A cold wind howled around him as he uttered the words of a dark vow—
An Oath of Annihilation, ancient and binding.
"By blood and bone, by fire and shadow—I swear it upon magic itself…
James Potter and his cursed bloodline will be eradicated.
Not one shall remain.
I will not rest until the prophecy is broken—by my hand."
The sky cracked with black lightning.
And somewhere, hidden in the currents of fate, magic sealed the deal… sensing the storm Voldemort had unleash.
