Chapter 116 - Wolverine In Trouble

Wolverine found himself trapped in a terrifying dream. He woke up inside a dark lab, floating in a tank filled with glowing green liquid.

Feeling weak and confused, he suddenly extended his claws and slashed the glass, breaking free. He stumbled into the forest, only to be attacked by a shadowy figure in dark clothes.

The fight was intense—until Wolverine jolted awake in his bed, breathing heavily. It had all been a nightmare, but the fear and pain still felt real.

Meanwhile, in another part of the mansion, Kitty woke up to the sound of her alarm. Still sleepy, she phased her hand through the clock to turn it off. While getting ready, she accidentally phased through the bathroom door—right into Rogue, who was already inside.

"Kitty! The door was locked for a reason!" Rogue shouted, holding up a hairbrush like a weapon.

"Since we're all Ben's wives, what's the point of bathing alone?" Kitty mumbled with a smirk.

"Out!" Rogue snapped, slamming the door in her face.

Back in her room, Kitty sat at her computer, writing an email to her parents. "I can never find peace and quiet in this crowded mansion," she typed. "If Ben weren't here, I'd probably have left already." Her frustration was clear, but so was her reason for staying.

Out in the hallway, Kitty bumped into a few of the other X-Kids before finally escaping to the kitchen. There, Wolverine sat at the table, sipping coffee and reading the newspaper.

He looked up and grinned. "Am I reading too loud for you, half-pint?"

Kitty chuckled, assuring him, "No, I'm just enjoying the peace and quiet-while it lasts."

As she said, the quiet didn't last long. One by one, the rest of the X-Men arrived into the kitchen, bringing noise and chaos with them. Even with the sudden change, Kitty just smiled and shook her head, staying in a good mood.

As everyone gathered, Ben grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. A breaking news report showed up—Mount McKenna National Park in Canada was closed after a string of strange attacks. The reporter mentioned possible "Bigfoot" sightings.

Wolverine's expression changed the second he heard the name of the park. Without saying a word, he stood up and walked out. He stormed to his room and, once inside, let his anger take over. He ripped apart furniture and slammed drawers, unable to hold back his emotions.

Kitty, walking by the hallway, heard the noise and peeked in, worried.

"Are you okay?" she asked gently.

"Just doing a little redecorating, that's all," Wolverine muttered, clearly not in the mood to talk.

Later, down in the living room, Kitty found Evan balancing on the sofa, trying to stick a poster to the ceiling using one of his bone spikes. She sat down and resumed writing her email to her parents.

"Evan's still acting like a big kid," she typed with a small laugh.

Wanting a break from the noise, Kitty climbed a tree outside. Below, Scott was working under the hood of his car. She watched him quietly for a moment, writing, "Scott can be super responsible… but sometimes, he's just as much a teenager as the rest of us."

From her spot in the tree, Kitty looked toward the courtyard. There, she saw Logan and Professor Xavier deep in conversation. She could tell from their serious faces that something big was going on.

She added one last line to her email: "It's Professor Xavier who really holds this whole place together."

At last, Kitty made her way to Ben. She wrapped her arms around him, finding comfort in his embrace. The two of them talked about taking a trip to the mountains—just a short break from all the stress and chaos in their lives.

Meanwhile, in his office, Professor Xavier approached Wolverine with concern.

"We need to talk about those nightmares you've been having," he said gently.

Logan stood up with a sigh and grumbled, "I'm not in the mood for talking."

Xavier continued, still calm and kind. "I know you're thinking of going to Mt. McKenna to check things out. Do you want someone to come with you?"

Logan didn't answer. Instead, he turned and walked away, leaving the offer hanging in the air.

A short time later, Logan climbed aboard the X-Jet, wordlessly taking the pilot seat. The engines roared as the jet lifted into the sky, heading straight for the remote wilderness of Mt. McKenna.

With his eyes locked on the horizon, Logan gritted his teeth and focused on flying. But the pain in his head kept getting worse. He clutched his forehead, trying to push through it as old memories and nightmares threatened to overwhelm him.

After landing near the mountains, Logan started a lonely climb up the rocky trail. The rough, silent landscape felt just like what he was going through inside—heavy, dark, and full of pain he couldn't escape.

Elsewhere, in a hidden lab, a scientist was speaking with Sabretooth.

"Wolverine got too relaxed at Xavier's," the scientist said. "That's how we got the chip in him. He let his guard down."

Sabretooth nodded slowly, understanding the opportunity. Now that he knew the truth, he set off into the forest, ready to hunt down his old rival—and finish what was started.

Deep in the forest, Wolverine and Sabretooth clashed in a fierce and brutal fight. Their claws and nails slashed through the air. Wolverine, fueled by pure will, started to gain the upper hand.

Suddenly, a scientist appeared holding a strange device with a dial.

"Time to end this, Wolverine," he said coldly, turning the dial.

A jolt of pain hit Wolverine hard. He dropped to his knees, clutching his head, unable to fight back.

Back at the hidden lab, the scientist grinned proudly, thinking he had finally won.

"Soon, you'll be working for me," he said as Sabretooth walked in, ready to begin training.

The scientist turned on several screens showing different people. It was the images of Ben and Kitty.

"These are your test subjects," he said.

Wolverine, who was still in pain, shouted at them clenching his teeth, "No!"

But the scientist ignored him.

"It's time to bring back Project Weapon X," he said, signaling the start of his new plan.

Meanwhile, high up on the mountain, Ben and Kitty spotted Wolverine.

"Hello Wolverine!" they called out casually.

But things took a dark turn when Sabretooth suddenly appeared beside them. Without warning, he grabbed Ben and threw him hard across the ground.

Sabretooth charged at him again—but Ben used his Time Pause power, freezing Sabretooth in mid-air.

Wasting no time, Ben launched a flurry of powerful punches. But Sabretooth didn't flinch, he felt not a little bit of pain from his punches.

Time resumed, and Sabretooth hit the ground hard, only to stand right back up. Ben didn't back down. He paused time again and attacked, beginning a relentless back-and-forth battle.

On the other side, Kitty tried to run from Wolverine but tripped and tumbled down a steep hill. Wolverine, still under the scientist's control, chased after her. For a moment, as Kitty spoke to him, something flickered in his eyes—like he was trying to remember her.

But the scientist, watching from his lab, turned the dial up to 60%. Wolverine suddenly growled, his rage returning. Kitty ran, phasing through a giant rock to escape—just barely avoiding falling into a deep ravine.

Meanwhile, deep in the forest, Ben was searching for Kitty. Out of nowhere, Sabretooth dropped from the trees and attacked. Ben quickly used his Time Pause ability, freezing Sabretooth mid-air. Letting time flow again, Sabretooth crashed to the ground. Ben moved on without hesitation, determined to find Kitty.

At the edge of the ravine, Wolverine stood alone, thinking that Kitty had fallen and died. He let out a heartbroken howl.

But Kitty wasn't gone. She quietly phased up through the ground behind him and softly said, "Hey."

Wolverine turned back, and again raised his claws—but hesitated.

Kitty gently reached for his hood, pulling it down.

"You remember me. This morning—you were having breakfast, reading the newspaper..."

Her voice was calm, steady.

"You smiled at me."

She looked into his eyes, her words filled with care.

"You're not a monster. Fight it. You're stronger than what they've done to you."

Wolverine stood frozen, his claws trembling in the air, as Kitty's words slowly began to reach the man beneath the rage.

Finally remembering who he was, made his way back to the secret lab. Inside, the scientist noticed the danger approaching and shouted for Sabretooth's help while trying to escape.

After reaching Lab, Wolverine slashed through the lab door. In a panic, the scientist turned the control dial up to 75%. Just then, Ben and Kitty arrived—Kitty rushed to find Logan, while Ben prepared to face Sabretooth.

Wolverine got deeper into the lab, the scientist cranked the dial all the way to 100%. Wolverine collapsed under the pain, and large security droids were sent in to trap him.

Kitty jumped into action. She phased through the droids, causing them to spark and shut down, then dove into the lab's control systems. Explosions erupted around her. She climbed out just in time to see Wolverine rising to his feet, back in control and heading toward the terrified scientist.

The scientist warned him, "The lab is going to blow!"

But Logan didn't mind it, with a calm and fierce tone he replied, "Let it."

He told Kitty to run, but she didn't want to leave him behind.

Before anything else could happen, Ben arrived.

"Stop," he said, and the blast froze before it exploded.

"Come with me," he told them. Kitty and Logan followed him quickly, escaping the lab just in time.

As soon as they got outside, Ben's control ended—and the explosion continued. They watched from a safe distance as the top of the mountain erupted in a massive fireball.

Later, at the mansion, Logan woke up in the med-lab.

Professor Xavier was at his side.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

Logan nodded, then quickly asked, "What about the kids?"

Xavier smiled softly. "They're safe. Kitty and Ben have been checking on you every hour since your surgery. We removed the chip from your head. You're free now."

Logan closed his eyes, finally at peace.

In another part of the mansion, Kitty sat on Ben's lap, putting the finishing touches on a letter to her parents. She expressed how, despite the crowded environment, having Ben by her side brought her happiness, emphasizing the sense of family that bound them.

Sharing a tender moment, she kissed Ben on the lips, looking lovingly at him. "So, you want something more," Ben said, she nodded and he put her on the bed, followed by himself.

And in the moment, Kitty's clothes fly away with Ben's clothes. Ben looked towards the Sacred Forest of Kitty, while his Dragon was fully awakened.

"My love, please push it inside of me," Kitty demanded, Ben nodded and with a force, he pushed all of his Dragon length inside her Sacred Forest.

And they, succumbing to the embrace of the warmth of their intimate connection, as the room fills with the noise of thumping and moaning. Both of them fell asleep after sharing great intimate moments together.
