Sofia Hamilton finished freshening up and realized he wasn't in the bedroom.
She thought he might still be in Lena's room.
She walked over, but still didn't see him.
It's so late, where could he have gone?
Feeling puzzled, Sofia headed to the second floor, and that's when she heard his voice.
Walking closer, she saw him on a video call with Charlie Harris.
She was about to step in, her hand on the door handle, ready to push it open, when she heard him say, "No matter the cost, I hope you can help me find a suitable heart, Charlie. I've decided I want to accept treatment."
Startled by his words, Sofia's heart filled with joy. She looked at him in disbelief.
He was actually taking the initiative to accept treatment?
Although he had been willing to go to the hospital with her for check-ups and to allow Charlie to stay here long term, Sofia had always felt that deep down, he was still prepared to give up.
