She laughed, her eyes shimmering with radiant light. That extraordinarily serious gaze was as clear as a gentle stream, making it impossible to look away.
Sofia Hamilton spoke with utmost seriousness, as if she were about to make an oath.
As long as he could get better…

Ryan Gregory locked eyes with her earnest gaze and lifted the corners of his mouth. He affectionately brushed his finger against her nose. "Let's hope you keep your word."
"Of course."
She responded and suddenly remembered, "Oh, before you go to sleep, don't forget to take your medicine. I'll get it for you."
With that, she stood up to fetch the medicine.
In just a moment, she returned with the bottles of medication. Following Charlie Harris's instructions, she carefully sorted Ryan Gregory's prescribed pills from the bottles.
She was exceptionally thorough, as if she was afraid of making a mistake.
