"Well, he wasn't as lucky as me to meet a good woman like you," Ryan Gregory said smugly, his dark eyes brimming with affection.
Sofia Hamilton couldn't help but smile sweetly as she asked, "Then tell me, how good am I?"
"Everywhere. Your heart, your personality, your looks, your figure... even your skills."
"Ryan Gregory!"
As he went on, his words got increasingly inappropriate.
Sofia glared at him with flushed cheeks and burning ears, but there was unhidden amusement in her eyes.
The two exchanged laughter, but Ryan suddenly kissed her on her lips.
The abrupt closeness made her heartstrings tremble as if tiny electric currents climbed up her spine.
She smiled, lowering her lashes. Their foreheads pressed together, their breath intertwined, so close that her heartbeat quickened.
The atmosphere turned subtle, quiet, and sweet, too precious to disturb.
Just then, she heard his low, husky voice say, "Kiss me."
