As the alarm rang, Chiba got up and went out to his back yard only to see Koizumi was already outside training with her Sharingan activated.
The sharingan allowed the uchiha to be able to copy and use anything, but they could only use it when the sharingans activated. Koizumi was working on ingraining Chibas swordsmanshio to muscle memory so she wouldnt need her Sharingan active to use it.
Creating two shadow clones, Chiba went on yo unsheath his sword and increased its gravity for a better training. As jis blade soared through the air, it created a small gust of wind that awoke Koizumi from her trance.
She saw her big brothers perfect form and couldn't help but be jealous. It was one thing to copy someone else's sword technique, it was another to create your own technique.
She was cut off from day dreaming as a blade slashed at her and she tried to defend, only for the blade to appeared like a snake and slip plast her guard, stopping directly at her neck.
"You've committed my techniques to memory but you don't know how to use them. It's almost like rock paper scissors, you know how to make a fist for rock and open your palm for paper but you don't know when you should pay them. Only experience can help you with this, and you can only gain so much experience from fighting the same opponent every day."
Koizumi had become disheartened as her dream of killing Ao seemed to be getting further and further away. Seeing her sadness, the shadow clone quickly went inside and came back with a large bundle of ryo bills.
"Take this money and go to our favourite Dango shop, buy the most expensive 'Premium Deluxe Dango' and head for training ground 9 near the flower shop. A girl with dark purple hair named Anko should be training there, share these with her and request to spar with her everyday in exchange for treats." The shadow clone said as he sat next to the other shadow clone, a pile of paper and ink infront of them.
"She is older than you by a couple years but my swordmanship should make up for the difference in experience. She'd be a perfect friend and rival for you."
Koizumi looked at her brother in shock, this wasn't the case of just knowing where someone was standing or creating a knew sword technique, it was knowing where someone was going to be and how to bribe them.
Now that she was getting older and less naive, Koizumi was starting to realize just how impressive it is for a blind child to do the things Chiba does.
"Alright brother, I'll go challenge this girl. When I beat her, can you line up a new opponent for me!" Koizumi said with fire in her eyes as Chiba shook his head.
'I just have to make sure she tells me when she goes out to take her revenge, with my Observation haki and Gravity ability, I can support Koizumi without her even realizing it.' Chiba knew he couldnt stop her revenge, he can only make her strong enough and to subtly help her from the shadows to achieve it.
Chiba had started training his template abilitys and he had realized something, despite only gaining the level of proficiency that Fujitora had, Chiba himself could findnew uses for his abilities. While he couldn't increase their ranks, he can find new applications of the skills.
He started training his template abilities by using his observation Haki to begin mapping out all of Konoha in his brain, remembering where notable characters spent the most of their time and every exit and entrance to the root headquarters were.
When doing that, Chiba had found many treasure troves that he was tempted of robbing. He saw graves of important Shinobi that had intriguing and rare looking weapons and even clan vaults that had hundreds of powerful artifacts and scrolls
Using his gravity to unfurl scrolls and his observation Haki to read them, Chiba had already read the majority of the jutsu's that he found interesting in Konoha, whether it was from the village or the clans!
Unfortunately the very powerful 'Forbidden' Jutsu always had a Jonin rank guard stationed next to them, never giving Chiba a chance to read them without them finding out something strange was happening.
Chiba had already made nearly a hundred copies of jutsu he found intriguing, he hid the copies under his house for safe keepings.
Unfortunately Chiba found it challenging to learn all of these jutsu with his average talent and low chakra at the moment, but he did find a few useful techniques that he could use.
After finishing up with his one thousand daily slashes and getting his reward for it, Chiba reached into his pocket and pulled out a tiny ball the size of pebble before swallowing it.
He immediately felt his chakra and stamina restore from being around 1/3 to a little over 1/2 as a feeling of nausea overcame him, causing him to puke out his empty stomach into a trashcan that he had prepared.
One of the scrolls that Chiba had copied was a recipe for military ration pills that didn't cause the normal three day's of weakness side affect, but it only restored half a genins worth of energy while making the user feel extremely nauseous for one minutes.
This recipe was considered a failure to the Akimichi as the affects were weak for Chunin and Jonin ninja, who were the majority of the fighting force, and would cause the user to puke, making weight gain much harder for the Akimichi clan that needed weight to become stronger. Not to mention the cost of ingredients wasnt worth the benefits.
Unfortunately Chiba could only use it a couple times a day as the ingredients are considered poisonous in high enough quantities but they did speed up his recovery time by two hours over the course of the day.
Chiba had copies of every clans signature Jutsu hidden in his house, but couldn't learn the majority of them. Not completely because he was talentless with low chakra, but because of the restrictive law put on the Uchiha clan.
It was a well known secret that the Uchiha had already learned the majority of the other clans special jutsu thanks to their sharingan, but it was an unspoken rule that the Uchiha can only use them in life or death battles.
The only thing they could do to preventing the Uchiha from abusing their sharingan and teaching their entire clan other Clans jutsu, they implemented a sort of Copyright system on Jutsu. This system was meant entirely to stop the uchiha as Jutsu theft was already a crime, but this copyright system meant that even if you didnt steal a jutsu and learned it fairly, if you didnt get the clans permission it was still illegal to use.
Walking passed the two Shadow clones who were working on Fuinjutsu, Chiba used his gravity devil fruit to lift the nails out of the floor board as wood paneling on the floor began to levitate just enough for a single scroll levitated out of the floor and into Chiba's hand. There was a single world on the scroll - SAKUMO
With slightly shaky hand, Chiba gently opened the scroll and saw the Legendary Sakumo Hatakes sword technique that allowed the man to become more powerful than the sannin.
Chiba sat criss cross applesauce as read the scroll indepth and burned the sword technique into memory. After thirty minutes of reading, he arrived the end of the scroll and saw instructions on how to perfom a Jutsu!

'Wait a second! I thought that Sakumo used a powerful white sword that created the incredible sharp edge, unless that was just a diversion!' Chiba realized that the "special blade" that Sakumo and Kid Kakashi used were just a normal blade made to look special to draw away from this jutsu!
While reading the jutsu, Chiba started to understand that idea of how it work.
'Hanbi told me that he obtained a vibrating Lightning blade from a Kumogakure Jonin, which could cut through wood and flesh with ease! I planned on buying it from him, but I won't need to!'
Chiba knew that Shinobi can manipulate metal wires through chakra and make them move in all sorts of ways, but this Jutsu showed Chiba how to do something similar with a sword!
Pouring his chakra into an old sword, Chiba started manipulating his chakra to follow the scrolls directions as he made the blade begin to sway back in forth slowly. As he became more and more proficiently at manipulating the chakra in the sword, the blade started moving faster and faster as he brought the moving blade to a kunai he took out.
He slowly lowered the sword as felt a slight resistance and saw that his kunai now had a deep crack in it!
Chiba poured more chakra into the blade as it sped up much faster until... *Crack!*
Suddenly tilting his head to the side, the blade broke in half as it flew past him as he felt his chakra leaving him very quickly, Chiba stopped as he realized how dangerous and chakra demanding the technique is.
'This technique is powerful, but this chakra requirement is becoming more and more of a problem for my 10 year old body. I have very powerful abilities that could make me Kage level and now I have access to dozens of powerful jutsu from copying them, but I can't use them longer than a minute before running out of chakra! Fuinjutsu will need to become my sole focus until I can seal a powerful animal inside if me!
