The pale and frail woman looked as if she could fall over with just a breeze. She propped herself up from the bed, her burnt hair dry and sticking to her face, yet she still tried her best to smile at him: "Thank you."
Trenton Smith slowly lifted his hand and took a drag of his cigarette.
"Regardless, thank you." There were still tears in her eyes, and she seemed a bit restrained facing him, awkwardly trying to express her gratitude, "...for all the trouble you've gone through for me, I really..."
