Hiroshi opened his tired eyes at the sound of a whimper. He turned on the warm lights to look at the man sleeping on the other side of the bed. He raised his hand and touched the man's face brushing away the hair that covered his face.
Haruki's forehead was covered in cold sweat with his delicate brows now tightly drawn together. He gently mopped the sweat off his forehead before gently calling out his name.
Haruki's whimpering continued and feeling a source of warmth close to him, he turned towards the heat source.
Seeing him turn towards him, the doctor did not hesitate to pull the man into his arms giving him a loose hug. He wanted so badly to pull him into his arms tightly, to hug him.
He wanted to ease the pain the man felt. If he could, he would take it all away and give the man happiness, make him smile; he wanted to so badly, but . . . He knew there was no way he could do any of these without the man letting him.
