Chapter 165 - What's new in Elysian?

" The guy in your dream" he laughed looking away and back at her. " He wasn't able to do that before. What's new in Elysian?"

Alvah was thinking as much as Empyreal Ghazan was. Tartarus seemed to be evolving everyday, but Elysian wasn't. With no recruit made it even worse.

" Then why stop me from training. I am the only recruit of Elysian which means I have duties to carry and right now..."

" I am just a distraction yes I know" he completed on her behalf. " What no?!" She immediately rejected. " I just really want to spend time with you I really do. But the day you tell me to leave will be the day I leave "

He looked Soo serious her heart skipped hearing his words. Turns out she was not ready to leave him either. It was like they got together just yesterday and she would lose him for another eternity.

" Even if it's next year?" She asked him and he nodded negatively. " Just enough time and I have to leave eventually".

" Would you stay even if I wanted you to?. Don't go back to Tartarus" she commanded him but he chuckled sadly. " That's not possible".

" Why not?. You just said you would leave whenever I want you to" she raised her brow at him. He knew exactly what she was doing and he could not continue the conversation. It was one of the reasons he disliked to talk about what he has in mind, or his troubles.

He sighed turning around to leave. " Wait Alvah " she called him but he just left. He teleported to the river where Zillah was injured by him washing off her blood.

He walked in the river drowning himself when he heard her voice calling him " Alvah!. Alvah!" But he didn't respond.

She rashly teleported with him out of the river when he gasped for air heavily. " What are you doing?" She shouted at him. " Are you alright in the head why would you drown yourself?" She threw her hair backwards.

Removing his hair from his face to get a good look at him. His chest heaved up and down, desperate to take in air and survive.

" Alvah" she cried his name. She laid on his chest her hands tight around his neck. She held his hands that laid lifeless on the ground to wrap around her. She hugged him tightly humming his name. " Alvah. Alvah. Alvah"

His hands tightened around her burying his face in her neck when she felt hot tears pour down her neck. " Alvah" she called his name in a low voice, trying to look at him but he didn't let her. " Are you crying?" She asked deeply worried, sad, emotions running through her veins.

He sniffed it when his voice cried out and she heard him crying. Her heart was broken, never had she ever heard Alvah cry neither seen him and he refused her to look at him.

Her tears seized in an instant from her eyes. She covered him with her body teleporting to their bedroom. She laid on the ground, stroking his head hearing his cry echo in the room. She comforted him as much as she could stroking him like a mother would to her child. Softly and smooth she moved her finger through his hair, with her chin resting on his head.

He released from her falling completely to the ground looking the other side so she wouldn't see him. This was why he never spoke about whatever bothered him he would rather take it in.

He knew what vulnerable state she and Elysian was in and it all rested on his shoulders. Everyday he thinks about what would befall him when he returned to Tartarus, what he would say, his reaction, how he can protect his new powers from their evil because if it was corrupted it was the end. He indeed is the soul of celestial of Elysian. This is his place

He never knew the right time to be converted because the day Tartarus finds out he would betray them, chances are they will definitely attack Elysian and they are more stronger than Elysian.

He thought as far as this and being a double agent was never the best step. He immediately stopped crying, his voice went silent, lost in thought when Zillah called his name one more time " Alvah" he blinked once, his eyes still widened.

She leaned over to look at him his eyes were swollen and red from crying. She was feeling cold but she couldn't think about herself at the moment.

She rolled him to lay on his back, sitting on top of him she stared at him not caring. His eyes were glued to the sides. It was like he never cried but he didn't speak.

She knew she had triggered him badly. This was the first time Alvah was like this. She had never seen this before. She was really frightened. She had no idea what to say or do.

She placed her hands on his cheeks when he felt her cold hands. He immediately passed heat into her body. She instantly felt warm. Realizing what he did for her despite the situation they were both in, she had to get him out of this grief.

She held his cheeks, falling on her elbows to look at him. Their faces inches apart, water dropping from her face to his. " What should I do to support you?" Her question got his attention. He looked at her having nothing to say.

She looked down and back at him. " I can get stronger, practice more, anything. But what is in your mind for me to become. I know you have a vision".

She was being serious her eyes not wavering. He stared at her amazed at her words. He tried getting up but she stopped him. " Don't ignore me give me an answer".

She knew a lot was running through his mind the instant he fell silent. Maybe he was confused but she would help him straighten his thoughts.

He remembered what Great Neevan told him. In times like this, he would definitely be a mess but she will be the one to straighten him. This was why she was here.

I should never hide things from you in the first place now it feels a lot to tell you from the beginning. He thought regretting not involving Zillah in his plans and future.

He was the one making mistakes and not her. How was he supposed to lead when he doesn't speak. Could it be that he underestimates Elysian or he overrates Tartarus.

Definitely Tartarus was strong but Elysian needed work and if he was here for the remaining hours he had to fulfill that whilst spending time with Zillah.
