The two of them fussed around until the latter part of the day, and if it weren't for the child's crying, they probably would have slept until noon.

Ji Qingyan held the child, pulled Lin Yi to sit on the play mat, and then laid the child down on it.

Lin Yi also watched the child intently, his eyes filled with anticipation.
But it seemed Lin Nuo wasn't in the mood to cooperate.
She lay on the floor without moving, her eyes blinking as she curiously looked at Lin Yi.
"Nuonuo, roll over for your dad to see."
Ji Qingyan was a bit anxious; usually, she rolled over quite well. Why was she dropping the ball at a critical moment?
But the child still didn't move, looking adorably at Lin Yi and drooling all over the place.
