Synopsis
Two years ago, the skies of Earth were filled with countless gold stars that descended upon the earth. But that was not truly the case. The stars that fell were not stars—they were coins, mysterious relics of unknown origin that embedded themselves across the planet. These coins resonated with the emotions and essence of the humans who touched them, unlocking their inner spirit and giving birth to powerful entities known as Avatars. These Avatars are not mere creatures—they are Constructs, living embodiments of their wielder’s deepest feelings, instincts, and ideals. Formed from raw energy, memory, and willpower, each Construct is unique, bound in form and ability to the person who awakened it. Some burn with vengeance, others shine with courage. Some whisper madness. The appearance of the coins changed everything. Governments collapsed, cities restructured, and a new age of power began. Around the world, Avatar Clashes became the ultimate form of conflict resolution, sport, and social status. A new generation of warriors, called Coin Bearers, rose to fame as both heroes and champions. Now Dune Tensho and Kira Vale create a team to explore the new world after two years pass and discover the secrets of the Avatar Coins.

Chapter 1 - Avatar Coin.

"Battle me, Dune Tensho?!!" shouted the bright-eyed, wild-haired girl as she thrust a gleaming bronze coin right in front of his nose.

Her name was Kira Vale, and if there was one thing she loved more than steamed buns and high jumps, it was challenging Dune to a Spirit Clash—usually after he did something to annoy her. This time? He forgot to save her a seat at lunch.

Dune, a calm yet mildly sarcastic fourteen-year-old, scratched the back of his head and let out a deep sigh.

"Really? Again? We just clashed yesterday. You do remember you lost, right?"

Kira puffed out her cheeks. "That was a warm-up! Today, I'm actually mad!"

Dune adjusted the sleek, dark-blue Spirit Glove strapped around his wrist and forearm. At the back of the glove, a slot glowed faintly—perfectly fitted for an Avatar Coin.

Description: A high-grade interface built for Coin Bearers. It allows seamless synchronization with Avatar Coins and automatically generates a Spirit Zone—a dimensional layer over the real world that contains Avatar battles, preventing environmental damage and keeping normal civilians safe from clash feedback.

He slid his coin into the glove's slot with a soft metallic click, and instantly, the ground shimmered around them.

Spirit Zone: Activated

The world dulled to grayscale, except for glowing spirit lines and flickering energy veins running through the air like neon circuitry. Trees froze. Wind halted. Time outside moved slower. In this space, only one thing mattered—the bond between Avatar and bearer.

Kira grinned, coin already loaded. "Let's see if your precious Hydragon can handle Blaziel now that I've made a nrw combo"

Dune rolled his eyes, but deep inside, he felt the thrill bubble up. He flicked his fingers forward, the Spirit Glove pulsing.

Both raised their arms and shouted.

"Unleash My spirit—Hydragon?!"

"Unleash My Spirit—Blaziel.?!"

Twin vortexes of light burst from their coins as the Spirit Zone crackled with raw energy.

From behind Dune, a tidal roar echoed as Hydragon emerged—an elegant serpentine dragon of translucent sapphire scales, water coiling around its limbs like living armor. Its eyes glowed with calm intelligence, and every movement sent ripples of power through the shimmering zone.

Opposite him, Blaziel exploded onto the battlefield with a heatwave burst—an agile humanoid Construct wrapped in dancing flames, armored in magma-forged plates, and wielding twin scimitars that radiated searing heat. It landed in a crouch, molten cracks lighting up beneath its feet.

Dune gave a lazy smile. "Hope your 'new combo' doesn't involve just yelling louder."

"Heheh." She just chuckled as the Spirit meter was raised behind them.

Dune Tensho->100 Spirit.

Kira Vale->100 Spirit.

Blaziel roared and two molten coins appeared floating in front of Kira. "Equip: Burning Scimitars.?!."

The coins broke apart into two red scimitar that fused the ones in Blaziels arms making it more hotter and redder. "Get ready Dune, I'm beating you up directly."

"Not that was concerning." Dune said with a nervous smile, Using an Equip coin this early ment that Kira was actually Mad.

But that did not bitter Dune. "Hydragon Attack him hard."

Hydragon roared and with a seemingly unstoppable force, it rushed towards Blaziel with its mouth wide open.

Kira smirked. "Blaziel Counter it?!."

When the the jaws of the dragon was about to come towards him, Blaziel caught the upper and lower jaw of Hydragon with both it's scmitars.

"Huh, maybe that wasn't the greatest of ideas..." Dune bow realized that going head on especially if it is Kira is quite not his favourite thing to do.

Kira grinned as she pointed her finger towards Hydragon. "Blazilel, let's burn this serpent, Overheat."

Kira->80

Her spirit meter reduced and Blaziel roared as the heat around him became unbearable, with terrifying strength, he spun the serpentine dragon and threw him towards the sky.

Dune->75

Dune scoffed at that and the coin slot on his Glove glowed before a coin appeared on his hand. "Now that your high above, Use Hail Storm and then use your tail to hit him away."

The coin shattered and Hydragon roared. Four shards of ice gloated around him and immediately came down crashing onto Blaziel. Kira hand no time to react as Blaziel was bombarded and was slowed down for a few seconds.

Hydragon came down with astonishing speed and immediately used its tail to hit Blaziel, making him crash and destroy some trees—It will return to normal after the battle.

Kira->60

Kiras Glove was getting a bit hot. "Damn that hurt but it's not enough to beat me. Let's dial the flames to maximum."

Kira clenched her arm and a Blaziel jumped back appearing in front of her. When she opened her hand a coin with a decorated image appeared in it. "Spirit Evolution: Ascend to the greatest flame of Nirvana—Awaken, Anathema of the Great Flame Blaziel."

Blaziel roared towars the skies as a Pillar of bright blue flames engulfed him, from the Pillar, two large wings emerged and a large halo was starting to form over his head.

Long gone the scmitars and a large blue Glove was seen on his arm. His armour looked less bulkier and he his face wa a mask that was smiling and it's eyes burned with a fierce blue flame.

Kira->70

Her spirit meter increased and her globe was burning a blue flame. She smiled while looking at Dune's grim expression. "Didn't expect that huh?."

Dunes eyes twitched with annoyance. "Yeah, yeah, I didn't. Why would you use Spirit Evolution, I thought this was a friendly match?!!.".

Outside the spirit Zone, a group of young and older spectators were currently watching the created spirit dime. They ofcourse could not interfere since the spirit Zone cannot be access by others if combatants are In a match.

"Wow, it looks like Kira is extra fiery today isn't she." One of the observers said as if this was a normal occasion for them.

The one next to him nodded. "Yeah and it seems Dune is in a pickle."

In the crowd a boy with spiky green hair and yellow eyes looked intensely at the match. Analysing the battle style of both Coin Bearers. He was recalling the types of coins they have used now.

Ability Coins.

Defense Coins.

Evolution coins.

Equip Coins.

He was most worried about these two, they were one of the two people who got an Avatar Coin out of the other 100 years ago.

Dune was ranked 20th in the Divine one hundred and Kira was 21st. It was all calculated by the ability of their avatars and how they utilised them.

He was also one of the Divine 100 and he is ranked 12th.

The boy's eyes narrowed as Blaziel flared with divine blue fire. "If she's using Evolution mid-duel, then she's not playing around... That form isn't just for show."

Meanwhile, within the Spirit Zone, Dune was gritting his teeth. Hydragon hovered beside him, scales steaming slightly from the residual heat left by Blaziel's transformation.

"Alright," Dune muttered. "She wants to play serious? Then I'm done holding back too."

Dune clenched his hand, and the Spirit Glove flared again, issuing another coin into his palm—this one shimmering with a silvery-blue sheen that pulsed like a heartbeat.

Kira raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You're evolving too?."

He flick the coin upward with his thumb and then like a magnet it went into his Avatar Coin. He closed his eyes and then opened them his bright blue eyes glowing with a newfound confidence. "Spirit Evolution:Drown the world in Endless storms and Madness. Awaken Maximum Leviathan Hydragon?!!."

A rumble echoed through the Spirit Zone like a storm's distant growl as Dune's Evolution Coin fused into Hydragon's essence. The serpent reared back with a roar that sent shockwaves through the Zone's air, lightning crackling across the dim sky. From its long, elegant form erupted a transformation of fury and majesty.

Hydragon's body expanded and spiraled, its sapphire scales shifting into deep oceanic hues streaked with glowing storm-lines. Fin-like wings formed on its back, each lined with arcing lightning, and its tail split at the end into a trident-shaped whip. The dragon's eyes, once calm, now glowed with primal storm-energy. Rain began to fall—within the Spirit Zone—thick and pounding, as if reality itself wept before this awakened power.

Spectators outside gasped as the sky inside the Spirit Dome darkened to near midnight.

Kira blinked as wind whipped around her, throwing her hair in every direction. "Oh wow... you were really holding back."

Dune's voice dropped, serious but calm, a storm beneath still waters. "You wanted a battle, Kira. Now you've got it. Hydragon, Typhoon Halo—Form it!"

Hydragon surged skyward, spiraling upward with a cyclone forming around him. The Typhoon Halo—a ring of lightning and water—materialized above the Spirit Zone battlefield, casting jagged arcs of light down like spears.

Kira braced herself. "You think that scares me?"

She threw a hand forward. "Blaziel! Flame Drive Dash—Close the distance!"

Blaziel, now in his Anathema Form, shot forward, blue flames spiraling behind him like afterburners. He weaved through bolts of lightning, wings flaring out to launch himself higher—straight at Hydragon.

Dune narrowed his eyes. "Predictable. Reverse Torrent Spin!"

Hydragon twisted mid-air, a whirlpool forming around his tail. With a sudden twist, he flung the spinning vortex downward—catching Blaziel in mid-dash. The flames hissed violently on contact with the water, steam flooding the zone in seconds.

Kira: → 55 Spirit

Dune: → 65 Spirit

Kira stumbled backward, eyes darting through the mist. "Can't see a thing... Blaziel, ignite the mist—Cleansing Flame Bloom!"

From the haze, a bright flare erupted as Blaziel released a lotus-shaped burst of fire in all directions, evaporating the fog in an instant. He stood in a crater of molten glass, arms crossed, his blue flame aura intensified.

Dune gave a rare grin. "Not bad. But you just triggered Surge Return."

A shimmering ripple spread through the ground under Blaziel's feet—caused by the mist's residual water energy. With a crack of thunder, Hydragon appeared behind him—fast as lightning.

"Hydragon! Skybreaker Strike!!"

Hydragon slammed down from above, coiling its massive body in a spiral before striking Blaziel with its storm-infused tail. The impact lit the entire Spirit Zone with a flash of blue-white energy, the resulting explosion sending both avatars flying apart.

Kira: → 35 Spirit

Dune: → 40 Spirit

Hydragon circled slowly now, still powerful but clearly drained.

Kira coughed, wiping sweat from her brow. "Okay… maybe I deserved that one."

But then she looked at her burning Glove—and smiled.

"You forgot one thing, Dune," she said, sliding one last coin into her slot. It shimmered with golden flame. "Final Drive Coin."

The Spirit Zone trembled.

Spectators gasped.

"Oh no…" said the green-haired boy in the crowd, standing abruptly. "She's going for a Finisher."

Within the Spirit Zone, Blaziel rose, floating upright with his hands clasped together, flame concentrating into a dense sphere above his head.

"Final Ability!" Kira shouted, eyes glowing.

"Flameheart Singularity: Heavenfall Nova!!"

Dune's breath caught.

A sun bloomed above them.

Blaziel hurled it downward.

Dune had seconds.

He looked to Hydragon, who was flickering—barely standing.

He clenched his fist, then jammed another coin—his last—into the Glove.

"Hydragon… last move. Let's finish this."

A stormwall formed around Hydragon, who dove directly into the incoming sun.

"Counter with—Abyss Spiral Vortex!!"

The sun and the storm collided mid-air, tearing the Spirit Zone itself at the seams. The sky shattered like glass as their final abilities clashed. Every spectator shielded their eyes. Even the green-haired boy staggered from the shockwave pulsing out.

Then…

Silence.

As the light faded, both avatars were back in their base forms—smoke rising from their bodies.

The Spirit Meter pulsed one last time.

Dune → 0

Kira → 0

A second passed.

Then the Spirit Zone deactivated—vanishing in a blink, the world snapping back to normal colors, normal time.

The two opponents were left standing in the center of the schoolyard arena, both panting, barely upright.

Kira looked at Dune.

Dune looked at Kira.

"...Tie?" he offered weakly.

Kira smirked, her hair a mess and her glove singed.

"Lunch seat. Tomorrow. You save it. Or next time... no ties."

She collapsed back-first onto the grass.

Dune groaned and followed suit. "Fine... but I'm not sharing my bun."

They both laughed as the crowd exploded into cheers.
