Yeah! Here's the new chapter!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After agreeing to Fleur's plan to deplete Krum's magical reserves, the Boy-Who-Lived and the French Veela got into a fighting stance, standing shoulder to shoulder as they pointed their wands at the barrier that had begun to break down under Krum's destructive efforts.
"Hey Harry, you still remember Ethan's duo fighting lessons, right?" Fleur then asked suddenly, still without taking her eyes off the barrier.
And hearing that question Harry nodded, "Yeah, one attacks and the other defends, then vice versa until the enemy is defeated" he replied, to which she nodded.
"Great, so in this fight you start attacking and I'll defend," she said, leading the pair as she was the most experienced and oldest.
"I see," and Harry quickly agreed with her.
And in his mind he was already thinking of an offensive spell to cast on their cursed enemy, who was still attacking the barrier.
"{BOMBARDA}!"
*Boom!... Crack!*
With this powerful explosive spell, Krum finally managed to break the barrier that separated him from the other two champions.
And looking directly at the grumpy boy, Fleur and Harry then decided that they would not wait for his next move or attack.
"Now!" Fleur exclaimed.
And she didn't need to say it twice before Harry started attacking Krum.
"{Stupefy}! {Incarcerous}!"
"{Protego}!" Krum cast the shield spell to defend himself.
After that he waved his wand upwards and forwards, and the leaves and branches that were on the ground around him turned into small, sharp blades, shooting towards Fleur.
"{Ventus}" She dispersed those blades with a gust of wind, before conjuring a few wide ribbons that moved like snakes as they went towards Krum.
Faced with the threat of these ribbons, Krum created a wall of flames in front of him, and as soon as the ribbons made of fabric touched it, they quickly burned away.
So after dealing with Fleur's ribbons he sucked the flames into the tip of his wand.
"{Igna Flamus}!" he said, causing the flames to compress and elongate, thus creating a whip of fire that he immediately used to attack the French girl.
"{Accio} Rock" and following the strategy of defending and attacking Harry summoned a large rock in front of Fleur, protecting her from the flaming whip.
"{Expelliarmus}!" the golden boy attacked again.
And Krum easily dodged the spell, "{Diffindo}!" he counterattacked with a cutting spell aimed at Fleur's neck, who dodged by ducking.
And after dodging the deadly attack, it was Fleur's turn to attack again, "{Repulso}!"
"{Nervor Fervius}!"
"{Petrificus Totalus}!"
"{Protego}!"
"{Glacius}!"
"{Confringo}!"
And what followed was a fierce and dangerous confrontation between the three champions, with a variety of magic, from transfiguration and basic everyday spells to the most lethal of dark magic, being cast non-stop.
"{Contusio Tria}!" Krum exclaimed, three yellow flashes shooting from the tip of his wand towards the only girl in the fight.
These three flashes then merged into one, becoming bigger and stronger.
And then the spell hit the shield Fleur had created with a loud, echoing bang, and the impact caused by it was so powerful that it forced her to take a few steps back.
"Urgh," Fleur grunted as she steadied herself, feeling a slight numbness in the arm that held her wand.
'Damn, my shields are getting weaker as time goes by, and if things continue like this I don't know if I'll be able to defend myself from Krum's next spells' she thought, pursing her lips as she felt her sense of urgency increase.
And these thoughts of hers were momentarily and rudely interrupted by another dark spell from Krum that again targeted her, which forced her to jump to the side to dodge it.
'Tsk, and why do I feel like Krum is only casting spells at me? It almost seems like he's not even attacking Harry' she made an irritated face.
But the moment she finished that thought she paused.
Then in Fleur's mind she began to remember everything that had happened so far in this 2 on 1 fight.
And quickly analyzing the fight she realized that she couldn't remember any moment of Krum trying to kill, hurt or even hit Harry, and this new discovery made her eyes widen slightly.
'Wait... He's really not attacking Harry!' she realized in a daze.
And in fact in her memories whenever Harry took the lead in the fight, making himself an easy and obvious target, Krum would suddenly stop attacking or attack her instead.
'I think I get it... The one who cursed Krum probably commanded him to attack only me while ignoring the other champions!' she concluded, her eyes shining in realization.
Now with this new and important information Fleur quickly reformulated their fighting strategy, before turning to Harry who was holding Krum during the time she was thinking.
"Harry, forget about the duo-fight strategy! You just focus on attacking while I defend!" she yelled at him.
"Fine!" and without questioning the change of plans he just nodded.
And narrowing his eyes Harry began a new wave of attacks against Krum.
"{Expelliarmus}! {Stupefy}! {Confusio}! {Aquamenti}!"
"{Protego}" Krum defended himself from the first three spells before having to dodge the last one.
And while he did this he didn't even look at Harry, as if the defeater of the dark lord wasn't even there attacking him.
And still without paying attention to Harry, Krum attacked Fleur for probably the hundredth time in a row.
"Huh?"
Harry, frowning, noticed the strangeness in Krum's actions.
And it didn't take long for him to come to the same conclusion as Fleur that Krum was ignoring him and focusing on her at the behest of whoever controlled him.
And upon realizing this, Harry put aside any caution and fear he had, and began casting spells at Krum even more quickly and intensely.
"Ugh!" Krum grunted as a shock spell grazed his waist.
The numbing, electrifying sensation coursing through his body caused him to pause his actions momentarily.
And in this time when Krum was recovering from Harry's spell, the green-eyed boy and the French Veela saw that Krum had finally started to breathe with difficulty, which showed that even if his mind didn't realize his tiredness, his body still felt it.
'Maybe his body will give out before we even need to drain his magic,' Fleur realized with some hope.
And Krum probably noticed this too, because the air around him suddenly changed, becoming more serious and tense.
The cursed wizard then adjusted his posture, before beginning to gather and concentrate all his magic into one point.
After gathering all his magic he slowly raised his wand, and without any surprise he pointed it at Fleur, who immediately became cautious.
With a cold glare, Krum pulled his wand arm back, the tip of his wand glowing menacingly.
And as soon as the glow became strong and dense enough he pointed his arm and wand aggressively forward.
"Argh!" he growled, casting a dark spell that produced a powerful jet of dark orange light from the tip of his wand.
Seeing the spell coming towards her, Fleur did not dodge this time, deciding to respond to this attack with her own spell that created a jet of cyan light.
The two spells then met, colliding in mid-air and creating another tug-of-war between the two.
However, this time Fleur was not alone, and when Harry saw her facing Krum's spell he quickly came to her aid.
Joining her in the magical tug-of-war a jet of scarlet red light shot out from his wand, clashing with Krum's spell as well.
And unexpectedly, his and Fleur's spells ended up merging into one, creating a powerful and brilliant jet of magenta light that practically tripled the power of their spell.
"Urg!" Krum gritted his teeth with the effort it took to maintain his spell.
And he wasn't the only one having trouble maintaining the spell. Fleur was also feeling her already low strength and magic draining quickly as time passed.
However, this did not affect the advantage they had over Krum, as Harry alone was managing to hold his own against him in this tug-of-war, even suppressing the Durmstrang wizard.
And this showed everyone that he wasn't just an ordinary boy unlucky to be in this tournament, and that he was actually just as strong as the other champions.
'Amazing, his magic is more powerful and dense than ours!' Fleur thought in wonder..
She also noticed that even after all this time fighting and using spells Harry showed no signs of magical exhaustion, which meant that his magical reserves must be immense.
And this fact raised Fleur's hopes in the fight, 'Now we just need to hold on tight, and then we will surely win!' she was excited.
End.
