Shen Yi Nian felt as if her heart was going to jump out of her chest when she heard the sound of the doorbell.
She rushed to the entrance and stopped halfway to check on her reflection in the mirror. Once she was satisfied with the way she looked, Shen Yi Nian stood in front of the door and took a deep breath. She looked at the security camera to see if it was the person she was waiting for. Seeing him, the light in her eyes lit up. Shen Yi Nian opened the door and found Li Jun Xuan standing in front of her.
Her lips stretched into a smile.
"Hi." Shen Yi Nian tried to control her smile as she did not want to appear too excited in front of her boyfriend. But it seemed that she was failing. It was hard to contain her smile.
"Hi." Li Jun Xuan smiled, noticing the beads of sweat on Shen Yi Nian's forehead. He raised the paper bag in his hand. "I brought you dinner."
